Why new features WONT make Halo 4 bad!

I thought that this would be obvious but i suppose many of you just love to complain. Although i dont post my opinions on this forum alot I am one of those that like to look through alot of the topics everyday to keep up to date with the communities feelings towards halo 4.

The one thing that i have never understood is the negative attitude towards 343, and previously bungie, when they try to innovate and add new features to the halo games. Seeing sprint in the latest vidoc doesnt bother me, even though i understand the frustration of a enemy escaping death by running away, because you will probally be able to toggle it in the custom game options. This means that MLG or 343 will be able to toggle it off if the majority decide against it.

So chill brothers and enjoy the build up to the next halo because this game is going to rock and imo the br is hit scan.

I think Halo was due for a drastic change.

Adding loadouts is a terrible move by 343. It’s taking away the core element of the game’s balancing, you cant just spawn with a power weapon like a shotgun you have to find it and find it before the enemy.

People love jumping to conclusions. While I like the return of sprint. I shall eagerly wait to hear the 343 explanations on the other issues.

Happens every time a new game is shown, there should always be changes to games otherwise they will be extremely boring and the fans will feel that the company has just shipped the game to make money, a certain franchise i shall not mention comes to mind.

you sir deserve a cookie.

OH MY GOD People! Frankie confirmed that CLASSIC HALO will still be in halo 4! DO you know what that means? That means there will be playlists that allow you to play halo 4 free of custom augmentations!

Stop complaining like 343 is forcing you to use loadouts! my god this is getting so annoying. Every thread i see its someone crying.

Im not talking about the OP by the way.

You wont spawn with a shotgun or any power weapon when you play regular slayer. You only get that choice on some of the newer gametypes like ‘invasion’, which imo is just a bit of fun anyway.

Yeh right. I also dislike COD’s copy and paste way of life.

Its as simple as this: I keep buying the Halo sequels because I want an improved Halo game. I want them to fix bugs, improve the graphics, increase the skill gap in multiplayer, add/remove weapons and maps, bring in another campaign and thats it. I don’t need the core gameplay changed for it to be an improvement. If I want something new, I’ll buy something new, I’m not looking for a Halo game to give that to me.

Change isn’t bad, but bad change is bad. Captain Obvious out.

Because they’re almost always bad ideas that decrease the skill gap and serve no real purpose other than flashiness.

Oh yeah, that does me a lot of good in matchmaking.
