I don’t understand why certain weapons were nerfed so heavily. The commando for example was so well done and now its so weak… I understand that if someone on PC has one and they can flick aim it would be broken (why we should be able to toggle crossplay) but for the typical console user using controller it was perfect the way it was. Was difficult to use but strong. Now it’s difficult to use and takes twice as many bullets to kill, with the same size mag,
The Hydra is completely broken and not sure what that’s about. It takes like 4 shots to kill, shoots slow, and reloads even slower… I get that it was a bit OP in H5 but just slowing the fire rate and reload speed is enough, should only take like 2 missles to kill someone with it.
Bulldog is waaaay to weak for a shotgun. Should take like 2 shots point blank to kill not 4, and damage should decrease with increased distance like any shotgun.
Never used the disrupter before today but havnt been able to get a kill with it in a balanced fight, only when their shields are already broken. It needs a slight damage increase for sure.
Some of the weapons are spot on still though. Love the new assault rifle, feel like it is now how it should have always been. Love the needler. Pistol is good. BR is good.
Just my opinions but I really loved certain weapons in the flights like the commando but now its a gun I only touch if I have a challenge for it… Please fix it and the others.

Weirdly I’m having more luck with the commando now than I did previously in the flights. Maybe aim is just tweak a little or my adjustments just work better. Regardless the commando now feels consistent and still fits nicely into the sandbox imo.
Before it was way too powerful at its max efficiency and too inconsistent where it was just really frustrating to use.
Yeah doing the commando challenge was a drag it takes 7-8 headshots to kill? AR can kill much faster and so can the BR and I think even the pistol so that makes it kinda hard to grind those kills for the challenge.
I know they modified the aim cone and that feels better but the damage is cut in half and now this high powered assault rifle does less damage than the pistol… In the flight it took about 4 headshots to drop bodies, now it takes around 8 (when you can consistantly land the headshots) It’s way underpowered and now I’d rather use the pistol or AR over the commando
if the damage was adjusted to like 6 headshots to kill I wouldnt complain but the way it is now you run out of ammo before you even get a kill…(unless they just stand still and let you shoot them)
I don’t think they halved the damage. I don’t know if you’re being hyperbolic or if that may have actually happened but it feels like a more consistent kill and is overall faster than what it was in prior flights for me.
I view it as an evolution of the dmr. It’s not meant to replace or beat the niche of the pistol or the AR more a different flavor of BR or Carbine type weapon. I pick it up every time I see it now for the extra range capabilities over the AR. And for reference the pistol outplays just about everything within its range including the BR.
Also I mean headshots prior to shield breaks don’t matter like every other gun. I think that was also the inherent issue with the prior high damage high bloom version. You can spam to break shields then you have to wait and then finish or you could just get rng luck- it didn’t feel good.
Maybe I’m wrong I just messed around some last night and didn’t do anything competitive but from the last flight I was forcing myself to use it and now I just grab it. Especially in btb.
Again on the betas I’d use it and have to reload on a single target too often and now I haven’t had to do that yet.

before it was 4, I’m glad you like it now but they 100% reduced the damage and time to death is way lower.
People were crying about it being to strong because PC players were beaming them in the head but that wasn’t a fault to the gun just the inconvenience of matching against PC players all the time
That’s crazy because its the exact opposite for me now… during the flights I could kill a single person without having to reload and now I’m lucky if I get the kill after 2 clips… And by the time I can even get through the second clip I’m usually dead …
I’m 50/50 with it, I can get kills with it but the Nerf made the TTK way too long which I find myself picking it up if there isn’t a Battle Rifle Laying around

Agreed, and to my knowledge it still doesn’t emp vehicles either.
I miss the CE plasma pistol, was one of the best guns in CE.
I’m almost positive the commando was a 6-1 (six shots to break shield and one headshot). Now it’s 7-1. The nerf wasn’t that drastic from what I can remember.
You don’t need headshots except the last one.
