I have seen that most of the threads in the forums are what map do you hate, what is your #1 complain, why do you hate halo 5. Why people can’t be positive?
People expect a lot from the Halo name and when those expectations are not me people get angry it’s as simple as that.
The same reason the evening news is negative. When people are happy about something they just go on living life, when they are pissed they want the whole world to know.

Why can’t 343i make a Halo game that is even remotely good/functions properly?
Because we don’t need to talk about things we already know that are good. If things are bad and need tweeked, that should be talked about. We don’t need a bunch of threads talking about the good.
Because the majority of people always go online to complain and troll. Very few actually go to praise or be helpful.
The franchise has had serious flaws for awhile now, and you have a faction of people trying to sweep dissent under the rug, which just inflames the dissenters to post even more frequently and harshly.
Other games are more or less fine, and as a result their forums are more or less fine. Almost to the point they’re so uninteresting that barely anyone visits them.
Generally when people are happy with something they tend to spend more time enjoying it and little time posting about it. When they aren’t happy they want to make it know so are a lot more vocal about issues. People can be and are positive about the game, the hard part can sometimes be finding the constructive posts and not pushing non-constructive posts to the top. As we already have quite a few topics discussing complaints with the game, I’m going to suggest re-directing over to those other topics
