The weapon doesn’t pop enough with req cards to make sense to have a commendation for it. Even the uncommon one has a very low show rate.
Why make a Phaeton commendation? Or any commendation at all for that matter.

mustve missed that. to busy playing slayer and warzone when I first got it. Only recently started trying gametypes.
Honestly, because is a different weapon. So it is different than the launch rocket so of course its different
I got the SPNKr cert almost directly after the DLC was released. I also got 4 SPNKr EMs without the cert.

There must be something up with the SPNKr EM, because I got 3 without having the cert. 2 from daily win packs which wasn’t that strange because they seem to give plenty of cards that you don’t have certs for. But I also got one from a random silver pack which seems odd because I don’t recall ever getting a card from silver packs that I didn’t have the cert for. Either way now I have the cert for both the SPNKr and the EM, no problem with having a separate commendation.
Just play BTB and pick it up when you can. Those rare to earn ones are the most rewarding.
I’m sure they will release more maps with the Spnkr on them so people can start trying to get that commendation.
Because the Pilum (Halo 5 rocket launcher) is different than the spnker, as in firing rate and reload time.

I’ts crazy. I also got 4 EMs from a silver pack.

Interesting… never thought of that.
If it makes you feel better, the commendation doesn’t count towards any of the overall UNSC weapon completion commendation.
I’m not really a fan of the default SNKR except for the look of it since It has a terrible blast radius.
The SPNKR is different than the Pilum, in terms of reload speed and firing rate I believe. Wait I already posted something here LOLOL

Ive got 15 without the cert. I don’t think it even needs one. Ive yet to really understand what makes the spnkr and regular rockets different though. Like why wouldn’t I just use one of the 40 rocket launcher reqs I have instead of the rare spnkr? commendations? pffffffffffft. Yeah whatever.
