Why make H5 a skill game if you can't EARN REQs?

The title says it all. I’m disappointed that the only reqs you can earn in this game is Helioskrill, which you can get in a gold pack anyways, and achilles, which has most people on multiplayer farm the enemy team for as well.

This game needs more earning when it comes to the reqs. It also disappoints me how many useless and unneeded armors there are in the first place.

I mean, to answer your question, you make it a skill game for two reasons.

  1. It’s fun to win, no matter the reward (in this case, REQ points)

  2. Halo is and has been a very competitive/skill based game.

However, I do totally agree to your point. The million sets of armors, different garbage types of stupid vehicles (scout hogs, wart hogs, mongeese, gungeese), and trillions of emblems break the system.

If REQ points are to stay in the Halo franchise, they need to implement an armory as well, and make it accessible offline, in a split-screen mode, with less armors, co-op firefight (where you can play as Elites), and all the custom game options, all the while having the vast majority of armor and cosmetics well thought out and not looking like a 90’s cartoon.

I think I touched on everything Halo 6 should have there lol.

While I do not completely agree, this is an excellent point. I honestly enjoyed the Halo 4 way to earn armor. My biggest complaint was for helmets like Commando, keep the gametype as a full time playlist. Can’t tell you how many times I voted Dominion and nobody wanted to play it.

i love the req system!! :relaxed:
