I was just pointing out something obvious, nice argument. If you’re gonna quit on everyone in Ranked cause the Disruptor isn’t in your map, do you think that’s ok?
is it okay for a challenge to require a weapon that doesn’t spawn on EVERY map?
By all game modes i was referring to playlists. That’s my bad. And yes pvp means you cant do it in bootcamp.
Imsorry but if you’re only playing Halo to progress in the battlepass then you shouldn’t be playing in ranked. You can quit all you’d like, but you’ll be banned for the rest of the season, rightfully so
That doesn’t excuse the horrible challenge system, nor the fact it’s the ONLY way to progress.
It doesn’t. I had a challenge to get 25 kills in slayer. Took me 12 games to find a slayer match, and I did quit some games here and there cause when you get 4 ctf games in a row it’s annoying. But I didn’t quit in ranked cause it ruins the experience for those grinding to higher ranks
And somehow that doesn’t for social? I’ve had games in social where players DON"T rejoin I even saw a game where BOTH teams had 2 bots and two players…
Ranked and social are 2 different types of games. I can tell you’ve never played competitive

No-one likes a quitter but if it’s CTF and I’m getting the flag 90% of the way on my own and my team are spawning and running the other way or an oddball game and my team are doing everything to get as far away as possible from the ball, you bet your backside I’ll be rage quitting.
The reason I starting forging was hoping that in some way I could create maps to help teach people how to play this game somewhere close to properly (but then the forging took so long I stopped practicing and got 
myself…).
I see alot of poor play in social that probably happens in ranked ,like people completley ignoring the ball carrier in oddball and instead focusing on players nearby the carrier when instead you could be poking for weak points or another way to get to the ball carrier.
I see in CTF that i’m carrying the flag and all my allies are busy with one guy or something instead of defending the flag carrier or stopping the enemy flag carrier,
maybe they’re doing challenges, maybe they just suck or don’t understand this isn’t slayer…
IN both cases i have to say YOU DON"T HAVE TO KILL THE WHOLE TEAM If your not playing slayer, if people are not a threat to you or your carrier, you can kinda leave them alone… Like there are times i wouldn’t have known people were there had they not shot me and times where I did the same there are places in maps people won’t look even…
Yeah like I said earlier - challenges are making everyone, including me, play like xxxxs but not seen one challenge yet that says has to be in ranked.
People playing ranked, especially high ranks, should be playing obj, if not, I have no guilt whatsoever in leaving.
Yeah i get pretty mad in social when my allies aren’t playing objective too so why is it ranked get’s special treatment??? it still ruins the game no matter what mode your in. I once dropped into a game wher it was 2 human players vs 2 bots in each team… is that fair that i have to play with bots???
No, it’s . Like we agreed earlier - the challenges force or at least push you to play stupid. But if you’re playing stupid then choose social before ranked so as not to affect others’ ranks.
The real fix is fixing challenges. But, yeah, we’ll see.

But why does their precious rank matter? And why should I care? What is someone wants to do challenges with BR starts and no vehicles? And what if they have a kill x amount of spartans with BR challenge?

If I’m trying and my team aren’t I’ll leave and not give a .
If I’m forced to do something I don’t want to because of a challenge then I’ve got to upset someone.
At the point of entering a match where I know I’m going to be a , I don’t know if the ranked team are going to be a bunch of s who I don’t mind upsetting so I’ll just ruin the lives in social knowing at least I won’t effect their rank.
If I knew I could go in a ranked match and be teamed up with a load of people who have ignored obj in the past, I would for sweet revenge but my crystal ball is broken.
Well I’ll be honest here i’ve seen enough to think that most ranked players are elitiist snobs and I should go out of revenge just to lower some of their numbers to the floor to show them some humility ,but I won’t…because I’m not that kind of person… and besides i’ve got better things to do…
Well most people play all/both. I spent most of my H5 time playing fiesta but then did ranked every now and again.
I’m not suggesting ranked or social are better or worse than each other, I’m simply saying, these challenges, the way they are now, will upset people - so if I can upset people and not mess up their rank instead of upsetting them and messing up their rank I will to avoid any more suspicion from the authorities for my psychotic tendancies.
