As you know in halo 4 there was a global file share were you can download map without any problem but in halo 5 you can’t why don’t we have this , in halo 5 forge is much more better and is perfect for making maps then any other forge so why can’t we download maps from a global file share is because its still in development or are 343 just to lazy.
Yea they said they are working on it. So dont worry… Trust me they are not lazy.
Even if they are working on it I don’t understand why the file browser system wasn’t there in the first place. I mean it worked great and we all loved it.
it was great on H3 and reach but it did slow everything down

They don’t come across as lazy to me either. Maybe just slow and misguided, but they obviously put a lot of work in if you ask me. But I wish the file share system would’ve been deemed important enough to have at launch. I know I’m missing out on a ton of awesome stuff because it’s not there.

I don’t mind that at all, the reach file share was perfection. They should cut a slice off that along with the whole UI.

I would also like to know the source of this, and also whether such a file share would include some categories like “Most Downloaded” and “Highest rated” and other things of that nature.

Some of the Forge Devs have been talking about it on Twitter. It’s in development but there’s no eta on it dropping

Ah yeah I have no problem with it, just that maybe a reason
Because, “Coming Soon”.
In Halo 4 the file browser wasn’t ready until the February after launch if I remember. They tend to consider that as an optional feature for launch, which isn’t cool.
