Why isnt the CE magnum a loadout weapon?

:frowning: its pointless to get now

well their aren’t any loadouts so…

He’s talking about warzone loadout.

i gets its OP but it requires req level six make it a permanent REQ

That would be too OP.

It’s not a permanent REQ because it’s a sure kill in near-sniper ranges. Not to mention that it’s a 3sk to the head.

It would easily be the most powerful permanent REQ we currently have if it was made one. By Halo 5’s standards, it is a power weapon. So that’s why it’s a single use.

EDIT: And don’t even get me started on the can of worms that would result in multiple CE Magnums being spawned by someone upon death, as well as a bottomless supply of ammo at the REQ Station.

If it is true to its original counterpart then the CE Magnum kills in 0.6s. It’s too fast to kill. Hence why it is a power weapon and not a ā€œloadoutā€ one.

w8 its not a load out wtf

Why are people surprised by this? It was very clearly shown in the REQ teaser image that the new mythic weapon (which at the time we didn’t know what it was) wasn’t going to be a loadout weapon.

should be req lvl 9-8 at least
that should do the trick

go play a custom match with that thing as a starting weapon and tell me you want a bunch of those running around the field at the same time.

I don’t think it should be a loadout. Even if you made it req 8 or 9 it wouldn’t work because it’s really not hard to get there and you would be unstoppable with it all the time.

It’s a three shot to kill sniper rifle dude, it deserves to be a one-time use REQ.

While the H2classicBR is a choice between the Laser or Jet Stabilizer H5BR, there is no choice with the H5M6D versus, ANY OTHER LOADOUT.
It’s a powerful and unforgiving beast, to both the recipient and the user.
Semiauto Magnetism
Spread, semi vs fullauto.

sad violin

Just a taste of nostalgia

Because its a 3 shot kill with a 2x zoom. Way OP. Snipedown and EG where running some custom games the other night with the M6D as a starting weapon. While he did have fun he mentioned multiple times that you have absolutely 0 reaction time. Most of the time you are dead before you even know where to look to return fire or evade.

Because it is far more powerful then any loadout weapon in the game.

no to each of these. sorry but not everybody moves at the same pace in reqs as you guys do. I get req 9 9-10 minutes into a warzone game. that gives me the last half of the game to rip faces with an op loadout weapon. there is no place in warzone for the halo CE magnum to be a loadout, sorry that you are disappointed.
also FYI, it was clear that the magnum would not be a loadout weapon since the first release of the blurred images. You should’ve known long ago

Fine…well, why don’t we make it a limited Lv. 6/7 REQ that has instant despawn, and you use REQ to ā€œreloadā€, but you don’t have to spend a card? You spend REQ equal to the card cost to relead each time that it is empty like any other gun.

That seems about even, and could be an reason to downgrade weapons like the dmr to Lv.'s 4-5 if the same method were to be used.
