Everyone complaining about population numbers?
It’s exam time. I’m hardcore… And I simply haven’t gotten on due to exams coming. Same with my roommate and his 4 friends.
The population will increase… It will especially when all this school bs is over with.
Also don’t compare it to COD. The population number on there is EVERYONE who is online. Not strictly in war games like halo.
I bet if 343 showed the whole numbers of people just online it would be higher.
So please relax… It’ll be fine. Especially when the TU starts to roll out.
Exactly what I’ve been saying. People need to chill. Halo 3 was released in September- of course it had higher online pop 3 weeks in.
If you release a game the month before finals (or even less, depending on where you are!), then you’re just asking for a dip in player population.
Lol yeah man… It’s just redundant. And well infinity slayer normally has more in that playlist did than reach all together.

Redundant: No longer needed or useful; superfluous.
The conversation about population numbers in Halo 4 is redundant. Especially on this forum. Topics not even threaded about population are -Yoinking!- about population.
Superfluous: Beyond what is sufficient or necessary. Useless.
Forums are for folks to air. While I don’t get the complaining (it’s just a game) or the irrelevant comparisons (Reach this, H3 that), if you bought the game and want to play it - population numbers are a useless rubric to determine YOUR enjoyment of the game. Play, don’t play. Doesn’t matter if there are 500 or 500,000 in the game. Are you enjoying it? No? Leave the population. One less person on the servers.
v Cigaro: Good luck with your finals. I teach college, and I know plenty of my students are annoyed with me for testing them when games come out!
Hm. Should have a Halo 4 tourney with all HS and College folks studying right now preparing for their exams, final projects, etc.
Fortunately, I’m not teaching this term, so I can play a bit more (usually, when I have dissertation writer’s block). This has been happening. Frequently.

People need to chill out. If Halo 4 makes it, it makes it, if Halo 4 doesn’t make it, then it doesn’t make it. Simple as that.

Yeah these last few weeks are going to be a pain when it comes to final projects and exams and managing game time…and I thought high school was bad…
I honestly don’t care what anyone else thinks about the population of a game is. If I can find a game and play the said game then I am happy. Who really cares about how many people play this game?
TF2 for the PC hasn’t got a larger population anymore and yet it’s considered one of the best PC multi-player games of all time. Think about that while you consider Halo 4’s population.
