I play soley on the weekends and finished the battle pass In 2 weeks. How and why is a battle pass of 30 tiers supposed to last 120 days?

Battlepasses don’t encourage or discourage me from playing games. A 1 tier season pass could last 50years for all that I’d care. It’s all about if the game is worth playing at all to me.
Atm i’m playing a lot of customs at 0xp per match and it feels great.

To be able to create seasonality. I doubt it’ll work though…
They’re just filling a gap with cut content. The S1 BP was supposed to be 120 tiers, so they used the 20 cut pieces and added some 2XPs and emblems.

It’s not.
It’s more of a “sorry Season 2 has been extended (again) - here is a mini battle pass to keep you going”.
Finger’s crossed we return to what they were aiming for in Season 3. 100 tier battle passes. Three month seasons.

Don’t put too much thought into this winter update battle pass. Its just a holdover until we really start the 3 month seasons in March 2023, when I am sure the battle passes will be 100 tiers like before. So no its not going to last very long unfortunately at all and I just finished mine yesterday where I spread mine out over 3 weeks by completing all the challenges only each week and probably won’t be back on Infinite until March most likely or unless there is an interesting event battle pass sooner than that.

It’s not supposed to last 30 days. It’s something they gave so we could have something before Season 3. It’s not much, but I’ll take it.

I think it’s to give them time to test things out before the next season. See how match XP is doing etc.
What annoys me however (and I knew this sort of stuff would happen), the core restrictions means that nothing in this pass is of interest to me because all of the items are for a different core than the one I am building. This is exactly the sort of BS I imagined happening when core restrictions were first announced.
