And with the death of firefight thursdays the count of Reach traditions 343 has killed raises to 3.
My only question is why? Why are Reach’s traditions dying?
Tomorrow is multiplayer Friday. Or is it?

wha?
Get over it. Things get thrown around when new people get involved.
“FF challenge Tradition”
LOL
This is really insignificant but it seems you want to dwell and make an issue of it.
If you’re making a list against 343 and this is your 3rd point of it breaking “tradition”.
Well then, naturally anything they change directly or indirectly will break “tradition”.
With this flawed mindset, you’re just out to hate them. Whatever they do.

They didn’t die, 343 has just been so busy getting HaloFest together and they need all of the resources that they can grab right now. I doubt very highly firefight thursdays are gone for good, this was just a one time thing. Plus there have already been like a million firefight challenges last week and earlier this week.

x2.

The challenges aren’t hand-picked daily. And I can’t imagine why the program that makes thursdays challenges firefight would be seperate from the challenge server.

Ahh now I get it I thought they were just radomized
What other two did they “kill”? Besides, I don’t think it can really be called tradition considering it didn’t last even a year. While some might enjoy a day dedicated to firefight challenges, those who hate firefight in Reach would rather play something else like matchmaking, and I don’t think it’s fair they don’t get to do daily challenges they enjoy on one day every week. I’d rather see a healthy mix each day of the two.
It certainly couldn’t have anything to do with preparing for Halofest could it?
Halo Reach is what killed tradition.
> Halo Reach is what killed tradition.
Oh come on, we get it you don’t like Reach do people have to mention they don’t in EVERY THREAD!
Well it did
Example: talking about the music of Halo. Someone will jump in and say ‘the music in Reach was poop’ If you put Tip of the spear as your favorite.
No one ever said it was FF Thurs. I am all for shaking things up a bit.

No, it couldn’t.
> Besides, I don’t think it can really be called tradition considering it didn’t last even a year.
It’s been this way since Reach’s release.

Those who like multiplayer get multiplayer friday. That arguement is invalid.

Urk called it that once.

Well I must have missed that, but it’s not anymore apparently. I am all for new Challenges across the board though. However it may have been a hiccup and we may see the return of all FF challenges on thurs. we will just have to wait and see.
Because tradition is for clowns.
> we will just have to wait and see.
I mean no offence, but I’m tired of that. I’d rather get an answer for once.
