Why Is there STILL not a "no fireteam" search

i quit for this game because warzone and social is filled with full fireteams who take it way to seriously, I come back, and oh look, nothing has changed other than a few more game types and req changes. I can’t find a single game without people who ruin everyone’s time who just want to play social, it’s ridiculous how much 343 doesn’t care about people who want to play by themselves

Eh too late, uninstalled

They did fix the fireteams by adding warzone warlords.

Can’t take the heat stay out of the kitchen… H5 is a competitive game that is all there is to it. I don’t get this myth of “social” who doesn’t play a game not to win? I never go into a playlist and think man I hope I lose or yep not trying today… But the good news about Halo is there us plenty of it on Xbox one between H5, MCC, Halo Reach, Spartan assault, Halo Wars and soon to come Halo Wars 2.
Even if they made a no team search you would come across players like me who play to win.

Probably because the playlists will be limited with the population of fireteam and solo que players. Some people are experiencing long waits for games even in the US if this were to happen that problem would occur for even more players.

Eh define fix. I haven’t seen a fair match yet it’s always one side dominating the other side plus regukar warzone can still have fire teams of up to six.

Social means social, competitive is ranked. Of course you play to win, but games aren’t fun when you want to play a SOCIAL playlist and go against people going full sweat, there’s a difference between playing casually and playing against 4 people full on sweating

That’s probably because it’s been over a full year like this and people quit either for reasons like this or others, if they added this when it launched, it would of been completely fine

That makes no sense to me… how do you know how the other players are playing? What makes them “sweaty”. The games go how you make them. You can play real passive in warzone if you choose to same in social playlist. Perhaps heroic warzone firefight would be more your speed. That is where I play when I don’t want to “sweat”.

They’re playing sweaty as in they’re getting into full fireteams who are obviously champions and onyx in ranked who aren’t there to be casual but abuse the fact they will get matched with lower levels, I don’t mind people sweating, but people going in a full fireteam knowing they will go against people who want to play casually is why there should be a no fireteam search

So you’re cool with people sweating in social playlists as long they are going in solo?
I agree with you they should add a filter system in the matchmaking system so solos with play solos while fireteams will play with fireteams and maybe remove or separate stat-tracking in social playlists.

If you’re overly frustrated with Halo 5’s MP, play other Halo games or other games in general. Helps me feel happy and look forward.

The games I played during Warlords War Zone, were AWEsome. Almost no full fireteams, & the games were close, with little to no “farming” going on. I would imagine much the same for a “Lone Wolfs’ Pack” playlist.

I hate to say it, but by your stats you are a sweaty player. Over 2 k/d. Gratz man. And I don’t see what your complaining about either. Looks like your doing very well.

I agree with Lethalq, Bluechief117, and CI Kurt 051 SII here. I was saying everything they were saying in a other thread and the OP and a other person in particular started getting out of line IMO. You don’t want to agree with me fine but you don’t have to start accusing a person of x or saying x to them.

I really don’t think having teams only play teams is the answer. Sure the idea is great, but what if there aren’t many teams on if any, at the time when your playing? You what, sit there for 20-30mins waiting to find a game? Or you just keep playing the same few teams over and over again? That isn’t fun either. Sure you can have a team only playlist, but how many of those are you going to have? And what if you can’t get the full fireteam? What are those people to do? So now we need a playlist for them as well. The new halo looks like this for example now…

BTB - 1 man fireteam limit
BTB - 2-8 man minimum fireteam limit
BTB - 8 man fireteam only

See what I’m getting at here? That’s a joke IMO lol Halo 5 population isn’t big enough to do this whole team vs team only playlists or match teams only vs other team stuff. Even if it was, I think that kind of setup is ridiculous lol

My solution to this problem is 1) Maybe certain playlists have a rotating weekend of full team vs full teams playlist (like what they did with Warlords) but the original playlist is still there too obviously for people to play.

  1. Your stats in ranked and social playlists are separated. Yes there are people that play social just to Pat their stats. This way, if they are separate that wouldn’t matter anymore. I know some people think stats in social should not even be tracked but I still want them tracked as I love stat stuff. So to me just having them separate would be satisfactory.

  2. Don’t have any unlocks ( like cosmetic stuff) linked with doing specific types of things. Example, how you get the Achilles armor and helmet. Yes 343I heart was in the right spot but it was not implemented well in my opinion. It just encouraged things like farming in warzone. If you’re going to do unlocks like that you’re much better off to make it based on say get X ____ in whatever playlist or the game over all. This could be things like Kills in MP and/or Single player, Wins in MP, ending the game by blowing up the core (if Warzone) etc. Things like this. Make it an insane amount too obviously… INSANE AMOUNT!

I know these solutions maybe isn’t fully what people like the OP want, but I think they would add to the matchmaking experience overall.

Some honest and relevant discussion with the person responsible for the matchmaking and ranking systems:

Not true a lot of people weren’t satisfied with halo 5 especially at launch it was bone dry with content, that was a problem on its own. Alot of people also didn’t like the path 343 was leading if down and quit. I almost did myself after a week from launch. If it wasn’t for my group I wouldn’t have touched the game ever again. Halo 5 also didn’t get the much sells (for a triple A title and a halo title). So even if they added this it wouldn’t of amount to anything imo

Just because he has a 2.0 k/d doesn’t make him sweaty lol. I’ve in particular can play and screw around with friends shooting at them and not even trying in the slightest and still dominate the enemy team. I’m not saying im a boss player but against other I’m pretty good at the game he can easily be the same. What’s makes him a sweat? Just because hes better than you or better than most players?. I mean a 2.0 isn’t that hard to obtain. Get 2 kills and then die

This is probably going to sound offensive, but if even if they’re matching and destroying you, they probably are relaxing. Sometimes someone else’s casual is just going to be better than you and it feels that way because you’re getting dumped on.

I predicted this would happen, but everyone begged for social playlist. I say deal with it. Harsh maybe but that’s just what it is…
Bad case of buyers remorse
