I think that says a lot about the armour in the game if a lot of players have equipped a helmet from 2010, lol.

Honestly I feel like the helmets from Halo 4&5 have been a bit lacklustre in design compared to the older games.
I don’t even know what helmet I used to wear before Achilles. Most of it is just weird looking, like Seeker…can anyone even explain what’s up with that lmao

One or two, possibly three, of the designs are okay. The Recruit helmet is one of my personal favourites. But, like you, I can’t remember what I wore before I equipped the Recon helmet, lol. Most of the new armour is just forgettable.
It’s probably a nostalgia thing… takes everyone back to reach days, which, as I’ve mentioned before is one of my absolute favorite Halo games. Everytime I unlock a new armour or helmet piece, I like to go through them all to see if I want to change it up. And right now I have the War Master Tiberian set (I don’t have a lot of complete sets unlocked yet) and I think it’s pretty B A. That being said I do agree that I think of a lot of the pieces are lackluster, and on top of that, I’m a little disappointed in my color options as well. It’s 2020 and you can only give me like 25-30 different color options?? An they’re not really that diverse either… I keep my armour kind of bland because I’m not a fan of my color choices… I kind of like the wrath helm, I’d wear it for a while if I had it…
In every Halo game since H3 allowed armor customization there was always a fan favorite and one or two helmets people tend to flock too. They like they helmet design. Which is fine for me cause now my Spartan looks different.

i get that but could they tone it down a bit mix it up abit i like the helm and all but jeez loize seeing it so often is making me nuts
I think there was a ‘Memories of Reach’ pack recently, so everyone grinded (or paid for) a buncha req points so they could get that pack.
I guess because they like the helmet or chatacter, but it’s not like the armor/helmet gives you powers in the game, in the lore maybe it helps with some specific missions but nothing more.
