Is there any way we can get an AFK kick in this game? It’s super frustrating to get a constantly AFK player that does absolutely nothing and is just dead weight on your team, especially in objective modes.

Halo Combat Evolved and Halo 2 had a 5 min. kick timer However the host was not effected was NOT effected with the timer. I don’t under stand the logic “NOT” having a 5 min. auto kick afk’er script in the game.
No clue. There was supposed to be an afk kick system for people afk when waiting for match but sadly 343i have seemingly ignored the in-game afk players. Wish 343i would do something about it. People sadly are exploiting the load screen matchmaking by pretending to be active then going afk the entire match.
Needs to be more than an AFK timer, sometimes people so hell bent on doing nothing are there doing the absolute minimal to count as not AFK in games, which is stupid cause why not just friggin play by that point.
Should be something like a minimal amount of actions. Like after a couple minutes if its suspecting you of being AFK, it needs to read like 5 different inputs within 30 seconds or so to judge you as not AFK. Cause who’s not at least doing five things in quick succession (moving, jumping, shooting, crouching, reloading, grenades, zooming, turning, etc) in this kind of multiplayer if they’re seriously playing.
If they’re keeping up with that, then there’s really no reason to not play at that point, unless they’re dead set on being pricks.

I almost think rather than bans for quitting you should get XP taken away. This was how it was done way back when and seemed to deter this.
