Can anyone explain this to me? They keep around the DLC playlist with like 200 people and Infection has like 9000. Race (and all the weird gametypes in reach) typically draw in more people. I for one, would love a dedicated playlist on some of the community maps (check my fileshare for some great race maps). Any of you guys want it? Reach doesn’t have much time left before the community moves to Halo 4, make it happen 343!

Race sure would be a blast, when you’re fed up with invis campers, hosts and betraying teammates…a good old round of race could take your mind of the pain and let you have fun, in a new and unique way. Halo, the way it was meant to be played ^^
I would surely love to see a race playlist in Halo Reach matchmaking and i for one would surely be in those lobbies alot lol
They do not feel the need to encourage racists.
They should just reintroduce it back to Rumble pit as a low weighting on custom maps.

Personally even at this stage of my life if Im going to play a “fun base racing game” its going to be Mario Kart. (still)
There is maybe to many low population playlist kicking about too, so I would say Action Sack suit race rather then giving it a whole playlist.

all i heard was a few CCs got told off over it, what’s actually happening i have no real idea since the CCs aren’t allowed to reveal such information.

RoosterTeeth made Grifball. RoosterTeeth also made Red vs. Blue, a very popular machinima series made in Halo games. It is more fanservice, if anything.

I’m sure it will be at some point, I personally love a lot of the community made race maps, and barring frame rate issues a lot of them should make it into a race playlist.
I wish you could punch in race. Slug it out with the guy next to you for the lead.

I know a bit more regarding the Race playlist, I won’t reveal it publicly but I can say is just be patient, your gratitude will pay off.

It isn’t so much “turn a FPS into a racing game”, but more “Wow, look at the amazing things people can do with this simple yet AMAZING FPS that we all know and love called Halo…”
The things you can do in this game are endless! Why not show off what can be achieved through the creative minds the brilliant simplicity of this wonderful game? They have skeet ball, why not Race? They have Rocket Race, why not RACE!?

No no NO! I don’t want to have to slog through all of these… interesting gametypes just to play Race, I want to play Race to play Race!
Hmm, never thought of a Race gametype, but that would be very fun indeed. In the meantime, there’s always Reach Racer.
Now… TU or Vanilla Race?
