Why is there no objective playlist?

First, love the game. Second, is it too difficult to make an all objective playlist with absolutely zero slayer options? Slayer has its own playlist. If I want to play slayer, I will go into slayer. Please, make this happen. Big team and squad.

Unfortunately, we cannot be that picky. Just play what’s offered.

But we can. Slayer has its own playlist. I’m tired of going into squad only to have everyone pick slayer. This has been happening since Halo 3. If you love slayer so much, why not just go into a slayer playlist? The ability to make a slayer free playlist exists.

if you want to play objective, why are you not playing Team Objective?

…or did i miss something?

There is no Team Objective in the Anniversary playlist.

ahhhhh i didn’t realize you were speaking about Anniversary. your OP was kinda vague. my mistake.

My apologies for not being more specific.

Eh, it sucks that nobody chooses objective. That being said, i do prefer the combined lists over individual playlists.

Objective really doesn’t work in Reach, there’s no incentive for winning so most people just treat it like unlimited slayer and stat pad for the entire match.

Sad but true.

yes i agree. why not seperate them? of course they will fix this too late and anyone that tried the game will leave again. i dont get it. never thought after halo2, and 3 that halo would be killed like this.

It’s tiresome, really. No one remembers a slayer score from Halo 2 but my friends and I still talk about some amazing flag scores/saves. Please add an objective only playlist. We beg you.

There’s a hard-coded limit on the number of playlists that can be in Reach. You can thank Bungie for that. That means that you can’t add any more playlists without removing some first (assuming that we’ve hit the limit with the release of Anniversary). That’s why Firefight Limited had to go. It had a low player count and similar options were available elsewhere.

Exactly this. If you want to add an Anniversary playlist, some thing else has to go. In the weekly update, they said removing Limited was a painful decision, but it needed to be done. There is objective games in Squad. I would suggest getting a full party together, and all voting for those game types if you want to play them.
