After a match ends, why do you get booted back to playlists? Why can’t you just stay in the same lobby? It makes no sense. Is this something 343 is working on to add later? Or are they just going to keep it the same way? Staying in the same lobby after a match would help out not having to wait and search for players for so long. Most shooters have them anyway and halo has had them. So why did they remove them? Just curious.
Because they are using the halo 2 and 3 matchmaking system.
More players searching equals faster search times… in theory.

Except that you could party up with people in Halo 3… I can’t remember if you could or not in Halo 2 or not. Too long ago.
And it’s because it was bugged months ago, so they removed it.
it was working for a while then they release a patch and broke it
You can’t party up in ranked playlists. Since all playlists are treated as if ranks are coming soon, they cannot function as unranked playlists.
Halo 2 and 3 had post game lobbies, and they were great.
I hate that they were removed in MCC.
You know what else H2 and 3 had? Working ranks that also influenced who you played against.

What? Halo 3 had post-game lobbies for partying up before searching restarted.
