I’ve noticed that Halo 5 doesn’t have any friendly fire. Friendly fire should always be on in competitive multiplayer. An enemy player shouldn’t be able to throw a grenade at his teammate and me without any penalty.
edit:
Betrayal booting should be on.
Are you serious? You are just notcing something that 343 is stealing from COD? Turning off friendly fire makes the game easier which i all 343 wants/ They want a Space COD Noob Fest
The beta doesn’t have ff… we don’t know that ‘halo 5’ doesn’t. But, since the Spartans yell out watch the grenade spam, guessing modes in the final game will have it enabled

You said throw a nade at his team mate and you…How was friendly fire brought up…? You mean no betrayals, right…? Cause for the Beta there usually isn’t any betrayal codec forthe game within trials. like this…It’s a general consensus that no betrayal coding go into beta for test gaming…
People are really crying about this? I’m glad team kill is off; it eliminates trolls, and people killing you for a weapon. Which seems to occur a lot in the mcc.

Betrayal booting.

Friendly fire = betrayals
Throwing a grenade at teammate should = damage teammate
And, I’ve never heard of any “consensus” about no friendly fire in a beta. Most games don’t have friendly fire anyway.
You might want to calm down with those ellipses, too.
With that OP nades in this Demo, im fine with no Friendly fire.

Elipses…wtf…? You do know in beta there are no FF…any game that is beta test is no FF…got that for Ellipsis…? Learn how to spell before judging me on something you know nothing about…!

Yeah, I guess the Reach beta didn’t have friendly fire. Oh wait, it did.

The Halo Reach beta had friendly fire. Also, the plural form of ellipsis is ellipses.
Probably to focus more on testing the game and not on l33t skillz?
We got 3 weeks to test the game. I’d rather not waste it by griefing teammates.

Since when has griefing teammates been a problem in Halo? I never had a big problem with it. Someone’s betraying you? Boot them.

Again, betrayal booting.

Didn’t play Reach…however that was Bungie and their garbage, not 343i…343i is smart enough not to allow FF for the very reason that kids like you would team kill and make your team go negtive, cause your a winey -Yoink!-…Right…?

Pick one
Why would I teamkill? That’s a pretty baseless assumption you’re making their buddy, I just want Friendly Fire on so that it’s not so easy to spam AoE weapons. Plus with Betrayal Booting active there’s really no need to have it off.

Lots of people do that. It’s a bit of a problem when playing randoms.

What do you people not understand about betrayal booting?

No, it’s really not. In the thousands of games I’ve played across 3 and Reach maybe a handful have had problems with betrayals. Randoms aren’t going to be betraying you constantly in matchmaking, and even if the occasional one that you come across in hundreds of games does you would have the option to boot them if BB is active.
