This seems like a no brainer?
Because going through campaign on legendary does not equate to skill in Matchmaking.

Fair enough, I just figured, with everything else you get experience for, they might of just threw everything including campaign in. Also I don’t think H4 is worried about skill so much, more so how much you play.

343i intended players to go through online multiplayer to unlock the armor, Spartan Ops was meant for online (even if it may be done local, correct me if I am wrong on that).
if people could simply rank up in campaign, they’d fine they cheapest way to rack up the points and just exploit that.
Campaign no longer gives any credits, campaign scoring is no more and you can’t earn any medals or work towards commendations (apart from clearing each mission on Legendary).
I guess 343 are really trying to promote Spartan Ops as the main co-op mode. Not sure how I feel about that, but meh.
