Do you guys think we should get an armor set by beating the campaign on legendary like in halo 3, Halo 3 odst, halo reach, and halo 4. I think it will give people an incentive to play halo 5’s campaign because I checked on achievements and it said that 1% of gamers completed the campaign on legendary. But the armor could be locke’s armor or the campaign armor that cheif wears. I think 343 should give us a armor set by beating the campaign on legendary. #giveuscampaignarmor

Easy campaign complete- Technician and Hermes sets unlocked
Normal- Helljumper and Centurion sets
Heroic- Copperhead and Argus sets
Legendary- Hunter and Mark VI Mod (Chief’s Mark VI) sets
I wish they’ve done that for H5 too. Would’ve made the campaign actually worthwhile.
Beats me. Guess they say the Helioskrill challenge as enough and didn’t put it into the final game. However, there is word around that the new armors that’ll come out next year (See the Monitor’s Bounty REQ list) will have some unlock prerequisites to go along with them. Nobody knows how or what you’ll need to do, but it’s likely that this’ll be the case. And for a good reason, too. Those armor pieces look beautiful.

> Hate to burst anyone’s bubble here… BUT I wouldn’t get too worked up over elaborate systems to unlock helmets. I agree that’s super fun and awesome but it’s not something that’s implemented for these helmets. The important thing I wanted to stress in today’s reveal is that they won’t require money (though for convenience it’s safe to assume a dedicated REQ pack will be sold). I did find out about one or two other little pieces of content though that aren’t on the REQ infographic that we will bestow upon the community in a similar fashion to the old days (no it’s not flaming Recon :)) Looking forward to sharing more on that later!
It doesn’t sound like they plan on new unlock prerequisites systems. As long as they are part of the REQ system, I’ll be happy since I’m about done and I’ll just need to pick up the helmets with gold packs (or the special REQ pack if they have one with them.)

Shame. Would be nice to have another goal to work to in Halo 5 that doesn’t require endless grinding of points. Oh well, what’re you gonna do.

Maybe even 343 didn’t like the campaign that much and didn’t feel it was necessary to force players to go through it on legendary just for a set of armor. That the achievement and gamer score was enough incentive since players who care about achievements and gamer score would do it just for those.
