Why is there no Bloom in Anniversary?

I have an original copy of Halo: CE. It has bloom.
I have Halo: Anniversary, it has no bloom.
Why did 343i allow this? Was it because the small minority group against Reach bloom was so loud that they had to take it out?
Please update the game 343i and give the bloom back, the way it used to be.

…What are you even talking about?

I’d like to know as well. He seems confused, misinformed even. I don’t recall CE having visualized bloom, just bullet spread.

Sorry OP, are talking about the Campaign of CE or the Anniversary settings for Reach?

Uuummmmm…there wasn’t any bloom in CE. All automatic weapons (AR, PR, M6D when trigger is held) already have “bloom” but no precision weapons had bloom.

Are you gonna share whatever it is you are on?

this right here.

Wait. are you talking about the multiplayer?
CE multiplayer is currently irrelevant

The CE magnum had BULLET SPREAD if you fired it in automatic mode.

Reach’s 3SK magnum has bloom if you fire it too quickly.

YES! i thought i was the only one against this! i like bloom, but all the people who couldn’t pace their shots would complain and 343 removed it. and now its at like very playlist!

Your statement confuses me eye twitches

I’d also like to add that 343i didn’t touch the gameplay at all. All they did was put a fresh coat of paint on the game. All of the gameplay settings are exactly the same, so I don’t quite know what you are talking about.

Once again…what are you talking about? CE never had bloom.

Technically speaking, this is false. CEA behaves differently from CE in at least several ways; there are bumps that don’t work, there are a few weird (if basically irrelevant) player collision barriers that don’t exist in the original game, and the banshee’s FRG behaves very differently from the original when shooting downward (projectile average speeds are much higher). That’s what I found from some limited and extremely non-exhaustive testing; it’s possible and very likely that there are a lot of obscure differences.

That said, CEA’s campaign does have what seems to be CE-like bloom. I did some admittedly crude testing with a pistol, and the behaviour was the same between the games.

Which exists in Halo CEA.
