Just wondering it doesn’t make too much sense to me and I’ve seen it scattered throughout
Are you referring to the way they completely re-designed his armor? Personally, I hate it because of how they implemented it. There was no explanation or reason for him to wake up in Halo 4 wearing a completely different set of armor than what he went to sleep in at the end of Halo 3. It would have been so easy for 343 to introduce this armor as something he was re-outfitted with once he got to the Infinity. Keep him in his old armor for the first few levels of Halo 4, and then change it.
Beyond that, I just think the new armor design is ugly compared to the classic Halo 2/3 armor. The Halo 2/3 armor was definitely an improvement over Halo 1. They really got it right with those games. The shoulders on the new armor are just terrible.
In my opinion, they made it too bulky and impractical compared to the sleek design in Halo 2 & 3. The green may have also altered slightly, that or the updated graphics made it seem a different shade of green.
I rarely see hate for his new armor. I personally love it and is my favorite armor out of any Halo game. Shame we don’t have it for multiplayer though.
Because people have their nostalgia goggles on and have nothing better to do than hate things because they are different while praising Bungie despite how s**t they have become.
