SPOILERS AHEAD:
In Book of Boba Fett episode 5, the Mandalorian are on a ring worlds highly similar to Halo. I’m not sure if this is a nod to Halo or RingWorld. I thought it was pretty cool. What are your thoughts?
I noticed this too. Halo could be the inspiration here with a new game out and a new tv show releasing soon but this reference is more likely based on Larry Niven’s Ringworld sci fi books which are much older and have used the “ring” world concept longer than Halo has.
Proberbly another tactic to try and get people to play halo infinite again

I dont think it was a nod to halo but it was very halo on design so who knows.

I thought it looked like a Halo ring and all I could think was wow, Star Wars got a Halo Ring on TV before even Halo itself XD
Oh and don’t forget the Movie Elysium by Blomkamp.
They somewhat make sense when it comes to Space-Stations or whatever, since the spin theoretically creates artificial gravity. So, to be harsh, it’s not really creative

Would be worth it for MS, I can imagine a lot of people grabbing that. I am starting to think that’s what they’re gonna do, how else are they going to keep up with the seasons without stretching out a bit?

There have been ring stations in Star Wars since before Halo existed, like stuff such as Kuat station. I believe it was first mentioned in 1995 in the book Platt’s Starport Guide

Nah, then the first gameplay influencing cosmetics will be introduced.
You think it’s difficult connecting shots with latency and desync, you won’t be hitting anything with that armor equipped.
