I was just wondering why the xp amount you earn after games doesn’t change by playlist. No matter what I play I get 2981 xp exactly for winning and being MVP. If im not MVP i still get around 2500+ XP. It doesn’t matter if im playing Multi Team or Big Team Infinity Slayer, I still get the same amount of xp for winning. When Halo 4 first came out I noticed that you would get quite a considerable amount of xp for winning a game of Big Team Infinity Slayer. Then if you won a game of SWAT you would still get a lot of xp but far less than BTIS because the game would only be around 3-5 minutes. I would think that you would get more xp for winning a game of BTIS because those games can be up to 15 minutes long. I guess my only question is why the cap seems to top off at 2981 no matter what the playlist is. If someone could inform me why this is I would be very grateful.
It’s likely to prevent people from ranking up too fast in War Games, due to how easy it is to get to SR-130.
Earlier on, you were likely getting more XP per games due to commendations.
I’d like to see a few playlists get a bonus for finishing games faster (without the cap) like Grifball was meant to get in Halo: Reach.
Okay that makes sense, very impressive service record btw, CSR 50 in Rumble Pit, Holy s***.

It’s not very hard to be honest, or not on in the first 24 hours. A lot of people were playing of all skill levels. Combine that with the fact it’s individual scoring and it was a pretty simple 50.
What I would like to is, why did they settle on 2981 for the XP cap?
To prevent people from achieving SR130 in their first 3 months then losing interest in the game like a lot of people already have.
