From the gameplay reveal it’s pretty clear that pve gameplay is just halo 5 rehashed. The ai behave the same, sound the same, and overall don’t seem to have changed much. Keep in mind this is judging an 8 minute demo so everything is subject to change.
But the hitmarkers are from halo 5. The way chief holds the weapon is from halo 5. The thruster pack movement and sprint is directly from H5. It’s just really confusing I woulda thought they would’ve been at this point in development a year or two ago.
Maybe I’m just stupid and the Slipspace engine is only used in cutscenes.

The demo was played on Normal difficulty, you could see it on the map screen. Everyone knows the enemy AI scales with difficulty in Halo, Normal enemies have always been dumb as rocks with Heroic being considered a true “normal” difficulty.

“Everyone” knows even on normal a brute wouldn’t just stand still and let themselves get stuck on normal. Maybe like I said I’m an idiot but as far as I’ve played that’s not the case to the scale the demo showed.
Either way I’m anxiously waiting to see more.

In Halo 2, 3, and Reach I have seen plenty of brutes, elites, jackels, grunts, hunters, and drones just sit there and let me throw a sticky at their face, but yes I too am excited to see more
Yeah they seemed abnormally inconsistent even for normal. The suicide grunt flying through the air could have been a cheap death, while on the other hand the brutes just stand around for a few second yelling after they exit their drop pods. wat?
