Now a lot of xbox one games are more expensive in the uk but I will just stick with halo in this thread.
343 why are you charging people in the uk $30 more than America that’s not fair, why are we being made to pay more?
Are you milking us dry or something because the vat in the uk isn’t that bad that we need to pay 50% more
The game isn’t even available for sale yet. If you’re talking about preorders, then I don’t know what you’re complaining about. If you’re willing to preorder a game before you even know more than that it will have 60FPS and Dedicated servers, then your not thinking clearly.
At least wait for the title of the game to be announced before you start complaining about the cost of it.

Amazon are already charging preorders at £60 so they have been told the price of the game. Also I think have the right to complain about one region getting the game cheaper than another. How would you feel about paying $90 for a game while the uk pays £40($60)
No body knows why and its probably a place holder, and certain games are generally more expensive like how Skyrim was £50 i stead of £40. All in all just wait for the prices to be fully announced and if it’s only Amazon then dont buy it from there.

Well, if Amazon listed the preorder price at $90, then first off I wouldn’t care cause it’s a preorder for a title that hasn’t been announced yet, and second it’s extremely likely to change once they actually announce the title of the game and more information about it.
If it’s still at this price for the UK right before the game comes out, then you might have a point. However, like I said, the title of the game has not even been announced yet and everything is subject to change.
Well seeing how a lot of games are £60 I highly doubt halo will be £40. And it’s not just the uk, it’s Europe and Australia are being affected as well and also a lot of people find paying £40 a bit steep and paying £60 will make it a lot more difficult for kids and adults to be able to play a variety of games because not everyone is made of money
Different regions have different prices for their games and other things and products - This is connected to salary, and other stuff. In Norway we pay always around 100 dollar per game, more than UK and America, but I also think we have, the highest general income per citizen of all countries in the world.
The thing is though ps4 games and even the 360 versions of next gen games are £40 so why are the xbox one games more expensive, you could say the blueray disc is the reason but it’s the same price if you want to digitally download the game instead. It just doesn’t seem right, even buying an xbox one is $600 in uk and Europe, it just doesn’t seem fair
Well, these days the economy is failing and you have to pay for the overhead of shipping, plastic, etc. Not to mention that these are PREORDERS, not the actual game. They could easily change it before the date. Heck, even in Canada we have to sometimes pay more. It is sadly another fact of life.
My advice is to not be discouraged and wait for the actual game to be fully made known, then you should worry about the price.
343 is microsofts company that manage all of things halo even when bungie was around. Also I wouldn’t see anyone in 343 caring since they would make more money. But the thing is though I like preordering games really early just to ensure I get a copy of the game on day one. There are not that many places where I live to go and get the game so they tend to be sold out very quickly.

It’s sort bums me out though there is like 8 games coming out next year that I really want and it will cost me in total $720 if they are all sticking to that £60 price but if it was £40 it would only cost me $480 so I could have bought 4 other games if they kept it at xbox 360 price
Its a pre order price not the final price. Once the real price is announced, it will change and thats what people will pay regardless of whether they pre ordered or not. Besides, Amazon have a pre order price promise, which means that you will always pay the lowest price an pre ordered item is listed at.
For example, I pre ordered my Halo 4 LE when it was listed as £80 back in January 2012 on Amazon. But after the official prices were released a few months later, it dropped to £55 before going back to £65 a few days later. I only paid £55 because it was the lowest under the pre order promise, even though it went back up.
