Its the worst ever… I can only hope our voices are heard. Why on earth? I believe this is part of the new teen rating 
my stats might not be greatest but I want to see teams gamertags before match and have option to mute screamers

This actually really sucks and id rather see teammates armor than 3 ships flying off!
I want to be able to know who is talking in the lobby and who is on my team before I start a damn game.
In addition, the whole point of customizing our Spartans is to show them off and look at other peoples in the lobby before the match starts… What gives…

I think they did it this way so the tryhards dont backout everymatch.
They did it the best way possible, stop whining.

I’ve been playing Halo with friends since 2 and I don’t see a huge problem with the lobby. I admit that it isn’t as well designed as Reach’s lobby and you can’t see other player’s spartans, but the rest isn’t such a big deal.

because they don’t give you any useful information about the other players or your teammates or even medals.

I have played all the Halo games so thank you for assuming I havent. When you dont pinpoint the core problem like saying why cant you view other players stats it leads to a different interpretation for example; when you say menu, to me and probably others, it sounds like you are referring to the start screen or possible just waiting for the game to find players.
The active roster on who is in the party should always be displayed. And backing out of a particular playlist does NOT mean I want to go back to the main menu. For the love of god, I just want to pick a different playlist, let me back out one menu. Terrible UI.
I have to agree with the premise of this thread. The lobby system is easily the worst of the series. Halo 4’s was different but it at least retained the functionality of the past. With Halo 5’s current system, It’s all flash and no functionality.
How can anyone remotely call this a decent lobby?

This sprinting -Yoink- and upsizing of maps with pistols and grenades being the focus is beyond me. I can tell you right now that if they would bring back the older Halo’s then 3/4 of everyone on Halo 5 would switch over. 343 has officially ruined what Halo truly was/is. I remember the glorious days and nights playing halo 2/3 and couldn’t be happier. Now, it’s like you can’t even come close to that type of excitement. Utter disappointment. Bring back MLG, bring back large scale maps, -Yoinking!- throw away sprint and “hovering”, bring back the original lobby you wait in where you can Actually see who you’re talking to before/after the game, get rid of this stupid -Yoink- REQ system and make people fight for vehicles and weapons on that map instead of downloading this -Yoink-. Oh and it’s supposed to be advanced warfare, so why are we still stuck with slow -Yoink- tanks and pistols that obviously are so powerful that we may as well just throw out the BR. Bring back Bungie, the real makers and originators of HALO. The one we all know and want.
