To the left you have MA5B and to the right you have the MA37. What i don’'t understand is why the AR that was in Reach(MA37) would be used in the remake that featured MA5B and not MA37.
They are the same weapon. The MA37 in Reach similarly equipped as the MA5C. The AR in CE is the MA5B, with different internals, 60 rounds, twice the ROF of the other 2, less accurate… so your reasoning is false

They are two different weapons. Look at the pictures, the gun has changed over the games. And Halo reach was before Halo 1 so its understandable. Thats why Halo 1 AR and 2 and 3 is all the same.
Regardless of how similar the guns are gameplay wise, they are different in model and appearance. Thus they are canonically a different gun. I have no answer for you OP, sorry.

Nope, i will not trust someone that is misinformed. The only different thing about this AR is the updated graphics. Why? you may ask, because the engine that CE is running in is the CE engine from 10 years ago. With a graphic engine running intop of it. Same gun.
> Lazy port? It’s the same thing with the Army Rangers from Reach instead of PoA marines.
This is what i’m saying! They just put the same things from Reach into CEA even if it’s not the same. I do speculate if they did it because of the “timeline” they didn’t reach <-- lol, thats why Chief looked so wrong.

lol…the last thing i will tell you. Yes i understand they look different. The way they shoot and all that good stuff is the same as the CE AR, nothing has changed but the looks. Same model with different graphics.

ITS NOT THE SAME MODEL!! They one used in the trailer is MA37. The one used in the original CE is called MA5B.
They’re different
Tell me, why didn’t the AR in CE change when Halo 3 came out? Cause it’s the same model. HD just mean’s it’s higher resolution. Those are different weapons.

Ok i lied ill stay and chat a while. Are you reading what im writing? The engine, which is what the whole game is basically depending on is the exact same engine used for the original Halo CE. The only difference now is that they added a grpahics layer ontop of that 10 year old engine that only affects the graphics. If by different model you mean they look different, then yes you are correct they are different models. You should have explained yourself a bit better.

I am Norwegian and i’m not that good at explaining myself, but you get what i mean right?
I was like aaw they are putting so much work into it, but really? Is that how they did it? Changed the landscape but ignored that the models of like everything like the soldiers, weapons now looking wrong.
