why is the killcam gone?

why? it amazes me that they took out the killcam and the reason i know why they did it is because its not competitive because youll be able to see who killed you only for like 3 seconds. how does this go against competitiveness? i honestly dont understand. like if you kill someone have the common sense to keep moving. for my this implies that competitive"players just camp. if thats how it really is then their not really competitive and is absolutely not a reason to remove the killcam

It was in the beta and people (including myself) raged about it. Kill cams and online games just don’t work well together. The lag differences even in a dedicated server environment will still induce controller throwing rage. Its so much better now that they removed the kill cams. From a competitive standpoint kill cams actually reduce the skill gap and dumb the game down. If your getting killed by campers then you just need to improve your game and learn how to use grenades to flush those people out or just kill them outright.

Because kill cams don’t belong in halo.

no its not that i get killed by them i just dont understand why it was removed. yea it was a little laggy but atleast you knew how the enemy killed you and where it came from for like 3 seconds

They took it out because Halo isn’t COD.

Kill cams are just horrible ideas in general. Dying should not give you any advantage on placement and movement of enemy team members aside from where you were when you were killed. I question the kill-feed providing weapon type info for this reason as well.

Because it is a horrible idea, was totally inaccurate and useless anyway, and just does not work in Halo.

i hate that excuse. who gives a -Yoink- if another games got it because with all the FPS out now its almost impossible to come up with something original

its called move somewhere else on the map

I think that kill-cams give away too much information in competitive games. They let you know where the enemy player is and where his teammates are positioned.

I can look in theater to see exactly how I was killed, from a first-person perspective and in slow-motion. That’s what a Kill-Cam is designed to do, right? Show you how you were killed, so you can improve upon what you did wrong?

At least the kill feed let’s ALL of your team know rather than the kill cam which works on an individual level. The kill feed is decent for Randoms who aren’t use to weapon sounds other than that yea I agree with you.

Because they’re not needed when you can see snipers now thanks to glare in their scopes.

the kill cam that existed was broken and added nothing to the game.

I mean, you don’t die immediately like you do in COD in a few shots, so I see no point in killcams. Was annoying in the beta already.

for like 3 seconds. ive never had a problem with killcam and honestly dont see how its “not competitive” because all you have to do is move around the map not camp everywhere

I personally hate kill cams. They are really annoying.
