I’m not sure why only one of the Halo : Reach maps includes it (and that map is a Firefight map)Sure, it may be pointless but as a scenery item it is nice and in Halo 3 I made multiple maps which included the Forklift (albeit in Halo 3 it was not drivable, but it made nice explosive traps).
The Forklift would have gone into Unearthed nicely, after all it is an abandoned human workplace.
Bungie said it was not included in Forge because of the limitations of disk space which is fair enough however, the DLC maps COULD have included it.
Before I get trolled, YES I know it’s useless, and YES I know it’s dumb, however as a scenery item it is what Halo : Reach
needs more of, scenery. I don’t really care if you cannot drive it, I would be happy with it being implemented as a scenery item with no other purpose.
I’ve not seen the Forge pallets for the Halo:CEA maps, but could the Forklift be included with one of those? Even if it was just in Forge it would be a nice addition.
I think it would be fun if there was a forkie gametype with forklifts spread throughout the map. Imagine using grenades on that map. You could take cover behind the exploded ones, but it would be a hazard to have to get around.
Maybe get some energy coil thingamajigs out there too.
I have know idea why. I think it’s because Bungie didn’t want to people to have to much fun with Reach.
It would of been fun to have all of the civilian vehicles for forge.
Imagine having the Cart’s bed with 3 people with Rocket Launchers’. That would be epic.

To me the Mongoose is the most useless vehicle.
> halo reach forge was bland. halo 3 forge was ingenius because of the small things.

you guys really confuse me, how is halo reach forge worse than halo 3 forge because of small meaningless items used in customs.
There are still golf clubs, soccer and golf balls, lights, dice, kill balls, all sorts of lifts, pallets, effect orbs, ect ect ect, not to mention a plethora of new forge pieces ranging in size and shape from paper thin to colleseum. The halo reach forge is easier to use than anything.
Are you really saying halo 3 forge was superior because it was difficult to use? Thats like saying:
“back in the day, cell phones were so much better, they dropped calls, got bad reception, and had almost non existant battery life! they took real skill to use unlike today, where you just punch in the number and it works.”
I guess I agree with you that the color pallet for the pieces in forge world are bland, but before crying about it, look at the bueaty that is forge world, its the largest skybox and map that has ever been released in this franchise. It is the forge map of halo, and it shipped on disc. Its almost 6 maps bundled into one enormous sandbox… Compare that to halo 3’s sandbox.

Didn’t you read the thread? No trolling. He just asked a question.
But yeah, I agree. I want more pieces to play with, not useless things like Forklifts and Phantoms.
Forge’s main limitation is the palette. If we had the option to use the beautiful building pieces from all of other maps, the maps from the community would be so much more inspired. If it would take alot of space to give us these pieces, just make it free DLC. I don’t care how big it gets, my xbox has like 80gb left of free space!
