LOL “ripping us off” but complaining about free stuff… Ummm yeah when games go “free” they are going to put the good stuff behind a paywall. Of course they want you to spend money on cosmetics. That is why don’t like the free to play model. The game content isn’t that great and the effort is in cosmetics.

Like I said before, I know multiple other f2p games that have a much better model than Infinite, this is one of the worst models ever

The problem that 343 faces is that they still made big claims about providing significant customization content for things like gameplay. Thus far, the only way to earn anything via the free pass, premium pass, or events is by completing challenges. Truthfully, they could bring back something like the Specializations from Halo 4 that reward armor and skins while still making money on the premium store.

Like a fool I bought the battle pass day one (won’t be giving them a single penny more), and I didn’t actually realise just how much stuff you don’t get in the free one, it’s kind of outrageous. My partner recently started playing and naturally without the premium pass, and the stuff she gets is pitiful, and not only that but every single time you unlock one of the paltry selection of items offered, it reminds you of what you’d unlock had you paid. A lot of very, very basic stuff is missing, it’s an absolute joke. She literally didn’t believe me when I told her she can’t be purple…
