Am I missing an option or something? He doesn’t even call out kill streaks anymore, or double & triple kills. The only thing I hear him say are “perfect” or “big game hunter”. Where are all the awesome satisfying announcer call-outs?
Because everyone complained about how loud he was in Halo 4 and Halo 2: Anniversary.
I got an overkill the other day and he didn’t say “overkill” or “triple kill”. I think it is because they have him speaking constantly throughout the match and he doesn’t have enough time to actually say all the medals when you get a string of them in a row.

He doesn’t talk through my matches, he’s mostly silent.

If true, that is disappointing. Half the fun of performing crazy awesome feats is hearing the announcer call out your greatness.

Weird, he hardly talks at all in my game. Every now and again I’ll hear “perfect” when I get a perfect kill or today in Shotty snipes I only hear “big game hunter” he’s practically silent.

Or just add an option to choose how to loud or quiet the announcer is.
You can adjust the Voice-Over volume in the audio settings. I turned my music and effects to 6 and have my voice-over volume all the way up. The voice-over setting is the volume for the announcer. I love hear the announcer with all my awesome medals.
There does seem seem to be a bug when you overload the medal system though. It will make the system skip sounds and medals, which with a company who had millions to spend on a game, how the hell do you -Yoink- that up.
Weird, I’ll have to check that out.
FYI : If you are playing War Zone…He’s not there, only in Slayer or other game types.
