I don’t know if I’m rare on this, but I prefer objective games. I’ve got nothing against players who like to simply run around and kill others but the “games” like Assault and CTF are more fun IMO. I don’t really enjoy Slayer, I tend to get bored. Up until recently, I’d only get thrown into a Team Slayer every now and then while playing Team Arena. Lately, it’s about 50 percent of the time. I don’t understand why Halo is doing this, as THERE IS A TEAM SLAYER OPTION FOR PEOPLE WHO WISH TO PLAY THAT GAME MODE. If you want to play Slayer, go into Team Slayer. Am I missing something? I guess I don’t understand why I’m basically not allowed to play the game mode I want. Seems like a pretty simple request in the modern gaming world.
agreed… they gave slayer too high of a percentage in the new update
I wish they would change the name of team arena to team objective and take slayer out (and put oddball and king of the hill in while they’re at it). Nothing is more boring than doing a team slayer game on plaza when it’s such a good stronghold map. I play both team arena and team slayer playlists, but slayer just doesn’t feel right in arena. The pace and how you have to approach the map is so different and it throws me off.
Team Arena is meant to be an HCS tournament analog, therefore Slayer is included.
