There’s other abilities that are fine but sprinting. I don’t understand why is there a ability for that. Some other halo game has sprinting but classic games.
It’s meant to be a gameplay mechanic like all the other abilities. You have to make a choice of what you want. You have the choice of being able to move from point A to B super fast, or fly upwards to get a height advantage, or be invisible to your enemies, etc.
Just because it’s in the game, doesn’t mean you have to use it. I play Halo 5 without using Sprint and do just fine. It doesn’t bother me much anymore

I mean, it’s not THAT big of a deal. Honestly, if you play a few games without sprint, you’ll realize that you’re still just as good as everyone else. You’ll lose races to powerups and weapons but you can just as easily beat the player who has it and taken it from him or her

Ok, I understand that but sprinting is a spartan’s ability so just for example: You just like the abillity to run and evade but there’s not much to choose from it and it’s not like you can have two abilities at once so I’m just saying, It’s just a discussion.
The sprint ability in Halo 4 onward made more sense but balancing player abilities is always a judgement call for the designers.

Agreed, it’s just a discussion. The sprinting/armor abilities conversation in the realm of Halo Multiplayer has become similar to the “what came first, the chicken or the egg” discussion. There’s two sides and both are pretty adamant about their stance.
