Not that I hate slayer pro but why is it in there? Didn’t it have its own playlist?
Because we have an ex-MLG kid running the Multiplayer now, who seems to HATE casual gaming on Halo 4.
There is nothing wrong with Slayer Pro same as there is nothing wrong with Infinity Slayer. Some people prefer one over the other, but there are others, like myself, that like both. We don’t have the population to have a playlist for every thing so they put them together in the main slayer playlist.
Also I would like to add slayer playlists in past games had multiple variants as well.
> Because we have an ex-MLG kid running the Multiplayer now, who seems to HATE casual gaming on Halo 4.
Yet this same ‘kid’ included Infinity Doubles in the Doubles playlist.
OP, people wanted Slayer Pro so it was added to Infinity Slayer, now all they need to do is rename Infinity Slayer to Team Slayer and we’re fine.
Slayer Pro rocks, I like the fact that it’s in the Infinity playlists now. Gives me the chance to actually enjoy those playlists once in a while. Infinity settings are horrendous.
> Didn’t it have its own playlist?
It did at launch, but it suffered from low population numbers and was quite different from the current version running in Infinity Slayer. 343 has stated they’ll be restructuring and reorganizing playlists soon, merging the weaker ones.
The current issue with playlists is the game’s total population. Adding more playlists will only fragment players more, and is the likely reason Slayer Pro made a comeback in Infinity Slayer instead of as its own playlist.

For the record, this game runs off a casual gametype. Aside from the addition of Slayer Pro, the casual crowd has less grumps to hit on. There still is no Classic experience while Team Throwdown is simply a reskinned MLG game.
This game is in need of fixing, and Bravo may help get this done.
I only bring it up because you know it just doesn’t really belong there.
Better question: Why does Infinity Slayer have its own playlist in Halo 4? There should be a Team Slayer playlist with 3 options.
TEAM SLAYER PLAYLISTS
Team Slayer= pre set loadouts, radar, no PODs, power weapons/power weapons on map
Infinity Slayer=the same nonsense it is now. Although 343 could balance it a bit with power up PODs and all power weapons on map.
Slayer Pro= current pro settings.
Return of Team Slayer would restore my faith in 343. They’ve improved Halo 4 a lot since release day but it still feels like they will never truly embrace Halo.
> Because we have an ex-MLG kid running the Multiplayer now, who seems to HATE casual gaming on Halo 4.
Cause the casuals sure did this game a favor looks at sales, game changes, then population
OT: Idk, I hate infinity slayer, but until I get my classic variant of slayer, it stays. Forget all that random CoD BS in infinity anyway.
What bothers me is how often slayer pro shows up when you start matchmaking. You get pro half the time. Reach had a pro variant as well in team slayer, but you only got a game of pro in reach maybe 1/5 games not 1/2, the way it should be.
