Why is Season 2 named Lone Wolves?

Because no one has a complete group of friends that still plays this game with them!

Don’t get me wrong, I think there is nothing cooler than being a lone wolf.
except for at wolf picnics, when you don’t have a partner for the wolf wheelbarrow races.

Yep…because if I play then I’ll be queueing solo because there’s no chance any of my friends are coming back to this game.

Cuz none of us have Halo friends anymore.

No? Is that just me? :frowning:

You’re not the only one. Started off with 10 of us playing every night like the good old days…and now it’s just me but even I haven’t bothered playing it for 2-3 weeks.

Serious answer, I think it is going to be about the Spartan 3s.

Due to the player population falling off a cliff, Lone Wolves is dedicated to all of us searching for games on our own only to be greeted with the “not enough player population at this time” message.

Makes me feel like it’ll be a Free For All Event, hence the name “Lone Wolves”.

I’ve got two friends that still play with me once a week. I really hope we can play this FFA mode together and it doesn’t limit fire team size to 1 like FFA playlist does.

Speak for yourself

Despite our complaints, every Wednesday has been me and the homies’ Halo Infinite night since launch

It has to do with a covert Spec-ops squads of Spartan III’s called head hunters. The HeadHunters work in two configurations: two-person teams (“BINARY”) or as single operatives (“LONEWOLF”).

Here is the link for the whole article. (https://www.halopedia.org/Headhunters)

…i mean, i didn’t have any to begin with. which i’d say is completely okay, i’d rather others not suffer the trash servers of infinite, and instead have actual fun elsewhere. so this event will be completely accurate since i am just that bored that i’m willing to play a terrible game… then again, it might be better if i don’t. so maybe there wont even be any lone wolves to begin with given the still lack of content xD

True and real. Had a large majority of my friends list playing Infinite up into December, maybe half played Cyber Showdown, almost zero played Tac Ops, and I have only one friend left that finished Tenrai with me. No more full squads in 4v4 or BTB. It sucks. I scroll through my friends to see their armor still unchanged, feeling the same feeling of seeing “Last Online 3 years ago”. It’s not actually as extreme, but they’re all unlikely to come back before Forge, if ever again.
Great job, 343.

It’s named Lone Wolves because I like to party…… …….

I’ve still got two buddies I get games with once or twice a week. I’m actually getting more time playing in a fireteam que instead of a solo que now than I have since Reach launched which is crazy lol

343 Needs to cater to the Halo Reach fans before catering to the entire fan base.

Probably will, let’s be happy kest they already had trouble with Teammates and keeping players together, I would t expect much. More than just FFA with a fancy name.

Bro I think overall the executives are telling them.ro.goce up on Halo Core fans and focus on the broader audience.

That’s the direction they are moving in, honestly I may focus more on other stuff and just leave Halo behind, maybe check in from time to time.

But the game is just a testing ground for future projects, this is their COD warzone where they will try to jam what they can in it see if it sticks and glue all that for future generation of gamers. Remeber mod tog is are in our thrities but they are trying to target the 10- 19 Year old demographic

So whatever trend that demographic likes 343 is going to try that stuff

Because Jerry hooks (343 head designer) told people if they didn’t like infinite dont play it

Good advice for any game really.

I can definitely get a few friends, but I’ve headed a pack for like three years now.

So no surprise.
