How are hard games every game fun? I don’t mind some mixed in time to time but I legit as well play ranked as it’s the same as social at this point social has no meaning

I barely ever take matches seriously and still do rather well. They don’t really come off as hard at least to me.
Or people want social games to be social and for ranked gameplay to remain in ranked lol. But yea hear whatever you want i guess.

They seem social to me. As I said before I usually don’t give 100% and still do well and have fun.
As I mentioned earlier, if you want a truly casual experience you should be requesting a server browser instead where people can create custom games you can jump into.
W or L doesn’t matter…

Challenges don’t function in customs. And I don’t want stupid modes
Then don’t do them then. You get at least 50 xp per match… You can still make progress up your season one or two pass every game.
Just don’t do them what kind of answer is that. Lmaoooooooo and always go for the W. So play mlg finals every game or play stupid infection or dumb game modes. Sbmm light socials is the middle ground
Youre not wrong, but thats not the point of this post. Plus that really only serves as a band aid for the problem here. If people want to put every ounce of effort into gameplay, then ranked is for them. When i find myself doing just that in a social setting, it makes playing even social games exhaustive.
Good for you that you dont experience it, but i say it to just about everybody on this forum because its stone cold truth:

When ranked and social become 99.99% the same minus a visible rank why have 2 modes
If I made the game, I wouldn’t be willing to sacrifice the experience for new players that are just getting started with the game just so you can occasionally get easier matches. Those new players need to stick around to hopefully grow the community as a whole.
And you can’t make the good players issues feel ignored also. It’s fine we’ll solve the problem ourselves the only cost is time. So what is the point of “social” existing if it’s ranked without a visible rank. Should be mp and one selection of playlists because that’s how they treat it
Social is whatever the players make it to be. If players are taking it super seriously because that’s how they want to play it perhaps?
The only thing really missing is the socializing part of it. Since most people never talk unfortunately.
When the opponents are the same as ranked opponents and the general feeling is the same it’s not social. I’m not buying what your selling. So you want more smurfs wish granted.
New players could still just play ranked and get matched against players their own skill level tho…….

Even if you remove it, doesn’t mean you won’t still be playing those people in your matches. Instead, now you’ll be mixed in with them, with people significantly better then both you and them, and people who just started and will just starting off. Every match will be completely lopsided.
The games will just feel like total RNG. Whoever gets the best players, and least amount of bad players will win every match.
The new players will just keep being driven off as they play people they have no chance of beating, cause player counts to never grow. Doing this would ultimately only hurt the game more in the long run.
Lets think about this from the persepctive of somebody who is horrible st Halo. How are they ever going to get better at the game if they only ever play against people who are just as terrible as they are? Their bad habits are just going to get reinforced and they arent going to be challenges to the point where they need to change the way they play the game. The stagnate

Rng matches is the point. Connection based like mw2 and cod4. I miss that. At one point I was the new player I stuck around oh nooo Playing against better people didn’t ruin my time.
