Reach has had 3-4 updates in the last 24hours, what could possibly be the reason for this? Also, should 343 put firefight doubles back?
I’ve been playing since last Friday and I haven’t received any updates. Do you play frequently, like every week? Or did you come back to this game after some time away?
The last time I’ve seen an update for Reach appear was right before Halo 4 launched. And I’d like to play FF doubles again just as long as they fixed the intense lag that occurred.
Firefight doubles was a good plan, but I haven’t particularly missed it. I don’t play much firefight anyways.
And I haven’t gotten a Reach update in a long time. Can’t remember last time.

- Are you playing on a new xbox ? Had you cleared the game data/cache etc ?
There’s no new updates. For whatever reason it sounds like your Xbox is deleting the Reach update. Rather annoying. 
Every time you do not play a game for a while or play a few games and then return to another one before the few played you are always prompted to do the random update. It happens for every game and if I am correct I think it was for MS to check for mods or piracy…

Sounds like your Xbox 360 console’s system cache is full. You will need to clear it and download the update again. Otherwise it won’t save, and you will have to constantly download the update. Clearing the cache will remove any updates from game you no longer play/own, but you will also need to update all the games you currently do.
You’re receiving updates that have been released awhile back because you haven’t played Reach since their releases.
343i isn’t updating Reach anymore and are focused on keep 4 up to date as well as whatever other projects they may be working on.
