Because 343 decided that your going to love it anyways in order to progress through the challenge system… Only to reach the ultimate challenge and get a Win 5 games of ranked… Cuss if you weren’t tired of it and you could care less for it. well guess what your gonna get more of it…
Ranked shouldn’t be incorporated into challenge progression… it kinda ruins ranked for the ones who love it and just annoys the rest of us who don’t even touch the playlist unless 343 forces it into the challenge progression

I agree, it’s a bad idea, especially since I hate playing ranked, but this week is because it’s a HCS celebration event sort of thing.
Because it can, and 343i wanted it in the challenges since there’s is an Esports event going on.
Its because it feeds the people trying to get there rank up.
Players that don’t like playing ranked end up playing to get the challenges done. Looses a couple of times to the person trying to rank up. Then they win. They get their chagglenes done. Rinse and repeat.
Think boys. 343 is playing you guys like a fiddle
I’m not even enjoying it. The mode is for serious sweats super competitive, and they went yea let’s make the entire Halo gaming community have to play it to win the next weekly challenge system.
They really didn’t think that one through.

They’re not making you do anything. You can choose to ignore the challenges this week and just play whatever you want.

I’m saying of you want to progress through the challenge system and get the ultimate challenge reward you have to play ranked. No way around it. It was kinda a dumb idea to tie ranked I to the ultimate challenge system.
I’m currently trying to lose and go negative so I can drop down to gold… Get easy lobbies and just get the two wins I need
One ranked game away from winning. It for the love of God I am not having a good time getting those wins.
It’s a real sweat fest…Im pretty sure the Ranked System is broken or flawed because I should not be a Platinum 2 player… Seriously how on god’s name did I even rank up that fast to that place.
I got it and boy was it a painful experience hope the next week’s challenge doesn’t include ranked cus I’m stuck at platinum 2
They mentioned it was just this week for the esports event so it should go back to normal next week.
I guarantee you’re not good enough to get into the bracket or “sweats” in the ranked playlist if you’re complaining like this. There are plenty of bad people in that playlist just like the unranked ones. If you don’t want to do the challenges don’t do them. No one is forcing you.

I’ve seen many different skill sets scattered throughout all ranks. I don’t buy it
I do want to do the challenges how we I don’t want to play ranked, this week’s weekly challenges were not a fun experience.
But you missed the point, the point was of you want to progress through the weekly challenges you have to play ranked …and I stand. Y what I said Ranked should not be part of the Weekly challenge progression.
If anything it can be its own challenge set.
It’s required for the weekly challenges and mysteriously it’s the only type that challenge swaps don’t work on. In what world is that not forcing?
So what, every single person should play modes they hate and likely bring their teammates down if they want weekly challenge rewards with no way around that?
I tried to swap the ranked ones and it kept gov Ng me more ranked ones so after wasting 4 swaps I said F it. Guess I have to ay this game mode to progress.
If anything in the future they should give it it’s own challenge thing separate from this.
Yes, because you can choose not to do ranked at all and ignore them out right. I believe it’s every Tuesday they’ll start a new set of challenges that you can choose to do, and should ( If I read right ) not be as competitive oriented as this week. So you’ll have your standard set of challenges then.
Those people would miss out on the weekly reward for beating all the weekly and ultimate challenges then. I think it would be much more fair and simple if challenge swaps worked on the rank challenges correctly. Isn’t that the whole point of the challenge swaps to help you get ones that align more with how you want to play?

Yup and avoiding ranked with them was the intent. It they basically nope you want rewards you have to play ranked this week.
I mean I managed to get it but it was not a rather fun experience. I liked the Tenrai event as it’s a fiesta one and that’s my main mode I liked in other Halo games
It’s amazing that this game is even a valid Esports title considering the number of issues with hit detection and lag.
Omg I thought I was going crazy, I would have instances where it took 5 shots from the BR to drop sheilds. And dudes would survive back melees.
Ots not too often but it seems like when it does happen it occurs the entire round. Yesterday me and my friends also kept disconnecting from the server. And we tried Big team but it was beyond laggy
