i’ll start by saying i hate campers and i hate prometian vision. put them together, and you have the cause for most of my in game deathes. just gives too much power to those who use it.
You know Promethean Vision can be used to COUNTER Campers by making it easier to know where they are and be more prepared with encountering the camper.
also the chittering noise and the red pulse on your motion tracker kinda give the users away…
Stealth upgrade counters Promethean Vision. You probably have to spend a slot for it, but your foe also spend one in a now useless Promethean Vision. A fair trade-off. Only downside is, you only can access it SR 60, but with those nowadays easy challenges, ranks skipped out really fast. Also you gain more benefit from stealth like silent footsteps and a bit more assassination speed.
I don’t find Promethean vision useful in this game at all. I mean we have a damn radar and with a headset or a good audio system, you can hear just about anything relatively close to your position.
Seems like a waste of an AA slot to me.
Promethean Vision is so fun…when the enemy uses it and falls for someone using Stealth.
