Blue Team almost ALWAYS gets rockets, had a guy last game with 11 Rocket Kills on Blue team, we almost lost but I carried the team to victory…after dieing almost 15 times to rocket kills…
Whoever has Blue side almost always wins on this map, at least in reflection Red team may get rockets at first but Blue can easily steal sword and sniper before red chance even goes up glass ramp…
So why was Pinnacle’s weapon layout so unfair to the other team?

I can say I rather play on Enclosed Shudders than Pinnacle any time any day.

I like Pinnacle the way it is. Im just disappointed that the tower doesn’t have a sniper rifle, while at the bottom of the sniper nest, there’s a sniper. Have at least two of them and also include a second shotgun by the bottom of the tower.
That map is easily the worst besides Reflection. If it is voted for I quit
AS for Reflection, red has the upper hand off of initail, simply because if the team is cordinated they get 3/4 PW’s immediately. RL of course, sprint to shotty, and jetpack to sniper. High ground control in less than 10 seconds with 2 maybe 3/4 pw’s.
Out of all the maps they could have remade, they picked the two most lopsided ones, smh amazing.
I must say, I agree with you, my team Blue or Red are always winners on Reflection, but when it comes to Pinnacle it’s always a close call or we get beaten…
Who cares if it’s perfect? I prefer balance over perfection…

There is a second Sniper. Look down and right the next time you are on Small Tower, it is resting against the Landing Pad.

This. Pinnacle is terrible for slayer but isnt as bad in 1 flag or something like that.
Slayer on pinnacle is awful. One team spawning with both rockets and a sniper and the other spawning with just a sniper… doesnt take a genius to see whats broken. Sure red team gets the tower to camp in but still.
Also one team taking both towers and forcing you to spawn on banshee constantly is no fun either.

The point of asymmetrical maps is to be lopsided. One team usually gets a “decent” start on weapons, while the other team gets control of the map. I’ve plenty of times won games on Swordbase as Blue, Reflection as Blue, and Pinnacle as Red.
Personally, I hate all these stupid Forge Maps. They seem too “open” and ruin the flow of games. Specifically maps like Enclosed I can’t stand because of this. Also, the maps are over/under-powered by a specific team because of the introduction of Jetpack. This happens easily on Reflection. Doesn’t mean i hate the map. I actually prefer asymmetrical maps over symmetrical ones for the reason of it makes map control more exciting and harder to do honestly. Overcoming is sometimes hard, but coming up with new strategies is easy and fun to do.
With symmetrical maps, everything is the same. You know what to expect, and people usually end up doing the same things over and over. They know what you’re going to do, and thus it makes every match boring and bland. Because nothing changes. The most fun and random things always happen on asymmetrical maps, and that’s all I vote for because of that.
Regardless what asymmetrical map I play, no matter what team color I am on those maps, you aren’t going to get off easy with getting a good spawn. Chances are you won’t win anyways.

to me its boardwalk and pinnacle i will only play king of the hill on ether maps i refuse to play slayer on them worst maps in the series
Pinnacle actually plays better than Ascension ever did, due to jetpacks meaning you can assault tower campers easily. By that i mean Ascension sucked balls but Pinnacle sucks slightly less balls.
Every single game turns into who can get an early lead then camp in the big tower for the entire match the fastest. Every single time. I usually just put the pad down and go on the laptop until its over, or more recently dashboard before it starts.
Also i cant believe it had the banshee in place on release. The subsequent slaughter was enough to make a tribal warlord blush.
Whenever I play Pinnacle, it’s always the small tower that is the centre of the map and the main struggle. It wasn’t a very good map in Halo 2 and it certainly isn’t good in Reach. Why they didn’t bring Foundation or Warlock back instead I don’t know.
