Pegasus is an utterly terrible map. It lacks three main things: power weapon balance, proper spawns, and well placed power points.
In Pegasus, both teams control two weapons (OV and Shotty) and have to rush for two weapons, those being the sniper and the rocket. Red team starts out with the advantage. From either side in their nest, they have sights on the sniper. Upon grabbing the sniper and the shotgun, they can literally just camp the highest point in the map, guard rocket, and grenade spam the hallway. Blue team only has OV.
As the game starts, Red spawns in the central power point of the map. Blue spawns in an open -Yoink-. Red has a decisive advantage even before the game starts.
The map has three main rooms. One is in the middle of the map and would be a potential meat grinder. The third is a split room that is not optimal for holding due to being open and lacking in cover. The third is the spawn for one team and is excellent to defend. It is the most elevated point, has two entrances, one by a stairwell and one by a ledge. The stairwell is long and narrow; the ledge is protected by cover favoring the Reds. It is clear that the map’s extremely lopsided nature makes it unfair and disrespectful towards a two team competitive game. The only solution is to remove the map.

I like the map.
The map is the worst one I have ever played on. Red team spawns with the advantage on rockets and sniper. They can nade down the narrow staircase which blue team has to run up. Not only that, their approach to sniper is covered, whereas Blue team’s is open and uphill. Once a team has control, they can sit on red and essentially nade the other team into 2 locations. Red side also has Jump ups which cannot be assailed or even used by blue side. They allow for complete cover of red side and allow people to jump down or shoot approaching enemies without any chance for the enemy to hit them first - you have to run under and turn as an enemy for any hope of hitting someone on a jump up. Also, if the team with top positions themselves correctly, they can force spawn the other team in the bottom room over and over. The room has only 2 exits and no weapons or real cover so its just spawn kill after spawn kill.
I like the map to an extent. It is ok at best but I don’t consider it to be terrible. It is poorly balanced though.
It was good in the beta.
I agree, Pegasus is arguably the worst map in the game. Red team spawns with the rocket and sniper while blue spawns only at the OV. Like, what the hell?

its ok, though red spawn is waaaay overpowered.
Would be good for one bomb or one flag though.

It gave you cancer? It gave us ALL cancer.
i feel like this map was made for infection, which is not a good thing for an arena map.
Pegasus and Orion were both solid maps in the Beta. What inspired 343 to jack them up is beyond me.
