I don’t think I’ve ever played on a worse map then Orion. The entire map is one big sight line meaning if you don’t have a ranged weapon you can’t do anything. I can’t count how many times I’ve spawned in a instantly get sniped. The map has so many corners any one can run away right to their teammates and hide from you instead of finishing their fight. I can’t think of one thing I enjoyed on that terrible map. It should just be removed and forgotten no amount of reworks can save it. I don’t know if I’ve ever played on a worse Halo map. Pls 343i just get rid of this map it doesn’t belong in Halo matchmaking.
I can’t stand it either, but more because of the frame drops than the layout. I mean, the layout is a mess too, but those frame drops are ridiculous. Pegasus too, it’s so bad at red spawn I just avoid it so I can see what is going on.

White cell is fine, probably one of the best and it’s a forge map at that. The frame issues is a fault in the game itself, not the maps.
Yeah orion feels very weird and the frame rate has to be fixed, if the frame rate was completely fixed then maybe I’d be okay with it, but it’s still my least favorite map in the game

I’m shocked Orion is still on the list? I know for a long while it had been removed. It had like a 70% quit rate. Pegasus on the hand is one of my favorite maps.

One of the most talked about features of the Halo 5 engine was 60fps. So why have they added these maps that cause the game to drop to 10fps? Whether people like them or not, objectively they are broken as they’re causing huge framerate drops. That’s not supposed to happen in Halo 5!

I initially didn’t like Pegasus 2, but after having played on it extensively i feel that whole dynamic of the map is so much more fluid.

Let’s just not remove a single map. There has been multiple thread talk about when is Orion coming back and people were exited to see them bringing an updated version.

Beta Pegasus was my favorite. Haven’t played Pegasus II yet…
I’ve gotten it so many times on Super Fiesta… And listen to this… I have NEVER gotten a positive K/D on that map. I dont know if its psychological or what.

But you’re playing fiesta, I wouldn’t even worry.
@op: I don’t mind them staying, especially when they’re pretty much social maps and out of team arena, and when it comes to that variety is better than taking them away. The issue I have is the frame rates destroying these maps.
