I find it odd that no one is really talking about these yet, I personally think these look sweet, and if these are the Spartans we get to use in Halo 4 that would be sweet.
Feel free to start talking…
Because this isn’t really the “Poorly designed extreme liberty-taking collectible figures” section. [Hopefully; pray to God that] It doesn’t have anything to do with Halo 4 that we know of. You best move this to the General Discussion section.
I loathe the fact that they had the audacity to slap on Halo: Combat Evolved for their advertisements for the series.

Because their ugly…
They look like weird Japanese humanized robots…
Well, everyone is entitled to their own opinions, I personally think that they look pretty cool, others hate them. Here’s where I would like to see this discussion move towards, I obviously see one of them holding what appears to be the Magnum Pistol, and the gold one is holding the Rocket launcher, additionally at the bottom of each pic it says “Spartan Mark V”, I am not to kept up on everything, so would someone mind telling me what that is referring to, also, elaborate on the weapons, is this some insight to Halo 4 Multiplayer?

Again, this has little relation to Halo 4 other than being licensed by its developer, 343i.
Mark V refers to the MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor that most Spartans have been using up until the end of 2552. It was featured on John-117 in Halo: Combat Evolved, Noble Team in Halo: Reach, and in various expanded universe products.

But we’ve seen Mark V in Halo:CE and it looks nothing like this, I heard someone say it was referring to the Spartan themself, like Spartan III’s and so on, so is this a new version of a Spartan possibly? Again, don’t bash me because I don’t know, just politely tell me what’s going on with these pics.

I’m not bashing you, I’m constructively and positively chastising you.
And as I said [again] in my first post, this figure has taken immense stylist liberties in its design. No Spartans would revert back to the Mark V suit when the Mark VI is already in full production, with the Mark VII shortly behind it. Its just a figure, nothing more.

I know it read wrong, but I wasn’t saying you in particular were bashing me, I just don’t want everyone who reads it to throw their 2 cents in and complain about how I don’t know enough.

It is an ultra stylized version of Mark V.
Because those are based off the Mjolnir design from the Halo Legends short The Package. It has nothing to do with Halo 4
The figures are pretty sick the halo reach designs are pretty decent, There articulation is amazing, there detail is awesome how can anyone say these figure are “ugly” do you have any of these because mines amazing only issue is price but you get what u pay for lol so yeah that my two cents.
Oh ps has nothing to do with halo 4
I’m pretty sure they’re based off the armour used in the Halo Legends episode, The Package
It looks like Halo meets Bionicle. Looks weird.
Are those toys meant to be spartans?
the blue one looks like optimus prime
hhhmmm… I really don’t like the design.
