The game is out in less then a month, do we really need to know all about it before launch. I heard that people now have the right to show footage from mission between 1 and 4, even if it had as many missions as halo 2 this sounds pretty spoilery to me. Why couldn’t they wait for December to show these videos, only seeing the thumbnails has ruined a lot of surprises for me.

I’ve been media blackout since the 6 min overview. Even avoiding YouTube in general now as YouTubers put spoilers in their thumbnails a lot of the time for clicks.
I’d suggest if you don’t want to be spoiled, do the same Spartan.

Yeah I’ve tried to just skip them since today, but still I don’t know why it would be a good idea for so many people to be able to show campaign footage before launch.
Honestly the lack of story moments in these previews its making me extremely skeptical of the game. It seems a lot like MGS5, which is mostly reliant on FOB’s and repetitive missions.
Wheres my Halo 2 Anniversary like trailer?
I think I’m the last week or so we’ll see the ‘launch trailer’ that has that vibe to it. Lack of story footage doesn’t exactly mean it’ll be like MGS5 either, there are many games that have held footage like that close to the chest and came out with a strong story. Clear example is the MGS games in general actually.

MGS games previous to MGS5 had trailers containing nothing but story. Should you recall the legendary MSG2 and MSG3 trailers? or MGS4?
All i see in these previews is the same boring locations, with similar FOB bases and im hopping thats not all the game has to offer. Hell i even prefer the visual vibrancy of Halo CE Anniversary, at least the Art style was on point.
It just looks so… souless. The Story needs to be good to bring those Halo feels.
Eh, I guess I don’t want to see anymore story footage, I’d rather see it all for the first time playing it, I’m insanely hyped already, I don’t need more trailers to hype me up.
Was really disappointed too when I saw campaign clips popping up on YT. Luckily most streamers respect players wanting no spoilers so no spoiling thumbnails so far.
Feels really unnecessary to let people make campaign content so close to launch, has a bigger risk on spoiling things for fans then bringing in new customers.
I’m dodging YouTube till December 8th and enjoy MP and lurk on these forums =)

Good for you, i dont get hyped out of nowhere. Im extremely skeptical of 343 based on their past attempts so i feel they are not doing a good job in making this game more attractive.
But again, apparently thats just me.

I don’t know why people complain about spoilers, don’t watch the videos. Not hard to avoid it. And unless you read an entire plot summary it won’t all be spoiled.

The spoiler is on The thumbnail, I can’t exactly browse YouTube with my eyes closed.
I think its important to make it clear that some people are hyper sensitive when it comes to showing off any story content. This is on them really and it makes conservations around launches really difficult. I saw someone complaining on this board that Masterchief going through the ships debris at the start of the game was this massive spoiler… Lol wtf.
