Because it looks like the matchmaking is not pairing by level/rank/skill/experience/whatever (yet). At this point it just seems to be just trying to get the two teams full (or somewhat full…).
I hope the next patch (the rumored beta one) will feature more balanced teams as well as teams that are actually the same size and actually make it into the match.
Whether or not this improvement is actually coming I have no idea. Someone more knowledgeable would need to comment.
Yeah, either i get matched with complete noobs on my team or the other team is all noobs and we win 50-10. Not fun at all either way, they really need to fix skill/level matching.

Lol i had some random in my game doing that on stonetown, he ended up betraying a teammate with a rocket launcher at the end of the game. Then he was trying to kill me so I sniped him in the head causing us to lose 2 points and the game ended up being tied. he went 3 and 8 or something. I HAD to send him a message after that game too. I don’t understand why these people play ranked…Some of them don’t even use their radar or have no sense of what’s going on in the game. My advice is to get a team of 3-5 people and play ranked that way, or else you’ll spend more times playing with terrible noobs.
Honestly the problem is with the match making. Can’t really blame new players or those of varied skills.
