Did 343 make any statement as to why they stopped loading armors? I started playing Halo: Reach on this account after they stopped updating the armors so Waypoint basically gave me a random armor combination for the service record page, I don’t even have the armor shown purchased and it looks awful!
On my service record, my armour is the default armour, idk why though.
Yep, there was announcement a few years back in one of the weekly bulletins that they would be stopping rendering updates to Spartans.

It’s because 343 pretty much no longer supports/updates the Waypoint App.

Server maintenance and the cost of keeping a cluster running to handle the processing of renders (azure isn’t always cheap). Comes a point where you just need to retire certain features and start moving on with newer projects

well when 11k people still concurrently play Reach on the weekends I think updating the stats and player models is still warranted.
