I posted about 2 months saying Reach Matchmaking wasn’t working I tried everything my NAT type is open as I have a DMZ set up for my xbox’s ip. Because I bought the game off the marketplace I figured maybe the file was corrupt so I downloaded it again and still nothing. Then after I posted here it started working again. All my other games work sweet in matchmaking. I play this game the most more than any of my others and have copies of every other Halo title to date including my original xbox. I would like to know how this can be solved multiple connection tests say everything is fine just no connection to the Reach server as of the 10th Dec.

Count yourself lucky if this is a recent development for you. It seems to be an issue on 343’s end, though I’ve yet to get a response from them. Where do you live? I know New Zealand was having a lot of these kinds of issues lately due to some IP changes, though this issue happens elsewhere as well (I’m in the US).
They are probably working on the servers. I have noticed that this has happened way more frequently under 343’s control thean under Bungie’s Control
oh yes I am very lucky I have a game I can’t play and the people that run the servers don’t give a stuff. Yes I am in New Zealand. I’d like to hope it doesn’t take two weeks to get sorted like last time. like you said when 343 took over a few months ago everything started going to hell.
I meant lucky that it’s a recent development and not a problem that’s been going on for over a month like it has for me.
What do you recommend I do then? I’m not particularly content with sitting back and doing nothing about it.
I must be one of the lucky ones, As i haven’t hit many (If any) network/server issues.

I am in the US and this is the second time I have had this problem I am so mad! I just wanted to shoot at some little kids! Ha, but seriously paying for Live then not being able to play the games you want is like a kick to the “figurative” nuts!
