Why is Jerome a leader. I’m not upset that he is i just think its weird cuz hes already the hero for a different leader if they wanted a spartan leader they could have used pretty much any other spartan(excluding Red team). I’m just wondering what the reasoning behind picking Jerome was.
Its wieird to me. I’d love a patch that replaced Cutter’s Jerome with an ODST or something else, and replace Sgt. Johnson’s Condor with a Halo 2 scarab.
I’d like to see Jerome feature in Halo 6 though. Or them bring a Jerome voice pack into H5. He is cool to me either way.

Yea, it’s a really weird choice. Would be interesting to hear their reasoning for it.
I feel the same way. I think he’s going to be awesome, and in a way it makes sense since he’s the leader of red team. It’s just the issue of him already being a Hero Unit. I’m happy that he’s getting a bigger story element, though. I wish they’d change cutter’s hero to make it make more sense. Maybe some sort of specialized ODST squad would be cool, and that would fit with cutter’s gameplay.

Personally I don’t mind him being a leader for the opposite reason. I think this shows that Jerome could have something in store for the future.

I mean, its not like you can’t have Kisano fight herself, or Johnson fight himself, as is.

So do we know what Jerome’s hero unit is? Should they make it Cutter? JK!
It makes sense since he is a leader with boots on the ground all the time during the campaign, but weird because he is cutter’s hero. My guess was he was made in a hurry or was supposed to be someone else. This leaders are starting to feel rushed.

His hero unit is himself in a heavily modified suit of armor, carrying a custom Hydra. He can summer a laser Mantis.
And his super unit summons THREE MORE SPARTAN-IIs
Before I found out that Isabel was going to be the third leader for the UNSC, I was expecting Jerome to replace Forge’s position. Seeing Jerome as a leader seems pretty natural to me. He works close enough with cutter. Hero unit awkwardness aside I like Jerome as a leader.

Really? I feel like Jerome and Arbiter are turning out great
Idk why they picked him, but the more I read about his powers and units the more I fall in love with him. Assuming he is quite good out the gate (unlike Johnson) I can see making Jerome my new main.
I’m buzzing for Jerome, as its close to something I was looking for…
Captain Lasky as leader with Blue team as his special.
Now instead of 3 spartan II’s we get 4!
Depending on everything else he could become my new main.
I’m also confused. His perks look great, but I would have preferred a new face.
Why can’t we just get Guilty Spark as a leader?..jk
There are other Spartans in leadership positions that they could have chosen and that would have made more sense, in my opinion.
Chief (self explanatory)
Fred (Second in command to Chief, and is one of the Spartan-II’s heavily inclined towards leadership)
Kurt (Dead, but was another major Spartan-II leader. Could have been a way to incorporate Spartan-IIIs in SPI armor.)
Palmer (Spartan-IV commander, so self explanatory)
However, I do really like the look of his powers and units, so I’ll get over the awkwardness.
