Is the head hitmarker that small? Is that what the issue is? Weve all been there 15 shot battles between champs? Why is this the first Halo game where this is an issue?

Mostly pistol mid to cqc from what I have noticed. Im starting to wonder if it is a connection issue like not running priority to xbox etc. I do have 30down 5 up fibe.
Maybe its because we get greedy idk but I have the same problem as well

Could just be depending on what server you’re connected to.
You can tell the difference between a local server to a foreign one. Shots feel different.
As a UK player I can find myself on US servers quite often and it’s very noticeable, nothing game changing but it can be difficult to compete at a higher level for sure

This is known as “heavy-aim” a problem with Halo 5’s aiming where it seems that a server handles the input and then calculates where the reticule should be. That is why there is such an inconsistency. At least that is the only explanation that makes sense.
Bad hit registration. The aim assist seems to intertwine with the outer reticle like Reach. This is why crouch strafing is so effective.
